Also the Big 10 guaranteed 4 is the biggest fraud. Only Ohio St plays the other 3. Penn St doesn’t have to face Indiana and Oregon, Oregon doesn’t have to face Penn St and Indiana, Indiana doesn’t have to face Penn St and Oregon. If they did you’d be looking at Penn St/Indiana playing for who gets their 3rd loss in an elimination game and they would prob only get Oregon and Ohio St in. Maybe a 3rd with who won that game and whoever did that would be their only top 25 win. Show me other than their record where Indiana and Penn St deserve to be in. Penn St lost their only game against a top 25 team and Indiana hasn’t faced one. All I’ve seen the last couple years is the SEC needs to go to a 9 or 10 conference team schedule but look at this. As an Ole Miss fan I’d give a left toe to get Penn St or Indiana 1st round.

As an Ole Miss fan I want it to clear up to the point we play in Atlanta for the SECCG. I know it’s a chance to get knocked out of the playoffs with a loss but scared money don’t win money. If our defense plays like it did Saturday and our offense keeps playing to our strengths with the right schemes and reads then I’d love nothing more than to win our way into the playoffs and not have to sit back on selection day worrying. There’s not a SEC team that scares me to the point where I say Ole Miss can’t beat them.

Instead of the Big 12 stealing a bid, I’m more worried that Army beats Notre Dame and somehow Army, Notre Dame and Boise St get at larges. If Army does win I think both them and Boise St get in. No way they leave Boise St out with how they’ve talked up Jeanty as Heisman all year. Justifiably so though because he’s put up great numbers. Plus their only loss is a close road loss to Oregon. All that and I’m still going to say I doubt Army beats Notre Dame, but it’s been a crazy season.

I went with State +24 this past week cuz Tennessee’s offense had looked like garbage and was only averaging around 20p/g. I think the Big 12 only gets one team in and it’s their champion. If BYU loses the title game they’ll be left out for the 4th SEC team. At this point with the way the rest of the schedule looks the Big 10 is getting 4. I also think BYU will lose at Arizona St and it not matter. This still all depends on how the SEC finished out cuz still have a chance for a crazy ending. If Tennessee loses to Georgia and Ole Miss wins out they’re in comfortably. I think it’ll be 4 SEC (Texas, Bama, Tennessee, Ole Miss) 4 Big Ten (Oregon, Ohio St, Penn St, Indiana) Notre Dame Miami Colorado Boise St

The defending 3A champ Winona can put a depressing 5-5 regular season behind them with an upset over the 3A North favorite Choctaw County this Friday night. One of those losses was a 35-21 defeat to Choctaw County. A lot of folks have wrote Winona off but they have the athletes to pull off this revenge game. I’ll go with them as a 3A dark horse. I don’t think either have what it takes to beat whoever comes out of the south though.

I don’t normally like to go off of what so and so did against someone compared to another but in this case I’m going to say I’ll get a better view if Simmons can be a contender against Velma Jackson by how Velma Jackson plays against West Tally. West Tally is actually a tough opponent and Simmons made easy work of them.

If we were healthy I’d say keep him out and redshirt him but with how banged up we are at the position we’re a UBIV injury away from being in real trouble at the position. Not going to lie, when we sacked Beck and he fumbled which was picked up by Georgia’s RB for about a 15/20 yard loss but Ole Miss picked up a personal foul facemask when tackling him I just knew that was the WAOM moment that was about to make the game spiral downhill. Went from what would’ve been 4th and around 25 to a 1st down across midfield and if I remember correctly that’s when it was 22-10. Luckily the defense stepped up again. Can’t remember if that’s the drive Nolen recovered the fumble later on or Saunders got the INT.

If Iamaleava is unable to play next week for Tennessee that could mean trouble for them @ Georgia.
