Enterprise doesn’t have the athletes to throw the ball much. The system they run is perfect for the players that they have, and it gives them the most opportunity for success.

Should be a good game. Don’t know who wins. I will say stringer wins in a close one, but if Tville can get some offense going they are capable.

This just ain’t true. Tville has gotten some good teachers the last couple years. There’s only so much they can do. The problem with Tville is the community… or better yet, the adults. The students have just been bad. There’s no accountability at home. Consolidation ain’t coming to smith county, but I wouldn’t be surprised if eventually in a few years Taylorsville becomes an elementary and middle school only, and then they split between mize and Raleigh once they get to high school.

Because yall are too prideful and stuck in the past. You don’t have the athletes to run the spread right now. If you were in a double wing or wing-t you would have more success. Keep the chains moving, eat up some clock, and keep you in the game longer. You have a chance at a win this week.

All county rivalry games should always be played unless it’s a large school and a small school. It’s good for the communities. That’s what high school football is about.

Certainly you don’t want to compare our athletic programs at any period of time. Football, yes. Overall, no. And I hope y’all get your 2nd title this season. I really do. That will get you halfway to us in state championships.

Oh so since Raleigh sucks at baseball, their baseball coach asks Hig to try to run it up in football? I actually believe that might be true. I can believe that. What you were told about that baseball game is untrue however. The score did get run up, but it was with our varsity and JV combined, and in baseball you can’t call the game until a certain amount of innings are played. Raleigh can beat mize in football. They can’t beat mize in baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball, or any other sport… so thank God they have this one sport to hang their hat on. For now. Raleigh has a good football program. Mize has a good ATHLETICS program.

And coach Hig leaving his starters in on the last drive with a couple minutes left trying to score again won’t be forgotten next season either.

You have no clue what you’re talking about. If our offense is upper 1A, then Raleigh’s is lower 1A. Your defense is what makes you dominant, and I guarantee you that we had more yards against your defense than anybody else has so far and may have all season. I’m not sure about d’iberville. And enjoy it this season, because this game next season won’t be enjoyable for you.

Other than turnovers, it’s going pretty good. We are averaging 3 turnovers a game right now. Had another 4 or 5 last night.

Magee had a defensive score and special teams score, but we still gave up 4 offensive touchdowns to a team that isn’t that good offensively. Our biggest problems right now are mental mistakes (penalties) and turnovers.

It will be close.

After this week the schedule eases up for them.

Mize has to worry about mize right now and nobody else. Defense needs a lot of work, and we have a big problem with turnovers and penalties that we got to get fixed. I don’t care who you are playing, when you are turning the ball over multiple times a game you are going to make winning difficult.

Their defense cannot stop anybody. I doubt they beat Pass. It would be great if they did, but I don’t see it.

Scott central is probably a little better than enterprise. I expect a similar score to that game

Tville has a good defense. Raleigh won’t score on them like they did last week. But Tville won’t score at all.

Salem with back to back wins over 3A teams. I know those teams aren’t good teams, but salem was on a really long multi year losing streak

Heidelberg is after Raleigh. You may not score the next 2 weeks. But when you get to your 1A schedule, things will be much much easier. If they can keep the team morale up after the first 4 games, they can go on a run. And my personal opinion, Tville would be much better off running the wing-t or a double wing. Their pride of what they were in the past will never let do it. But they would give themselves a much better chance in an offense like that.
