Bubba maybe very well be fighting to be Superintendent and asst Superintendent or AD over the whole county. He would be hiring all the coaches .

I do know he had kick some guys off the team last year. He was playing mostly freshman and sophomores. So my son in law told me. I don't know if they told him to leave, refused to renew him, or if he has resigned.

I look for Bubba to pull something even if its last day at work invJune.

Was Buddy Duke on staff and were is he now.

Hall hired Bubba am I correct. If so Marcus was brought in to be the head coach when Hall left. Poor Bubba at the time. Bubba may have to eat this one or find another candidate.

Basically what I can tell you that my sister who taught school with Marcus mom. Both were math teachers at Raleigh. Marcus went to WC from Pearl to be head coach, AD, and asst principal. My educated guess is Bubba wanted and got the head principal over Marcus. Marcus went to Petal to be closer to his girls at USM. So Bubba must have got his way.

Smithville is open. Jimmy Young is going to East Union to be offensive coach.

It's obvious Bubba doesn't have 3 votes on the board along with very few contacts in MHSAA. Otherwise their waiting on him to leave before they apply.

I am wondering if either other than Carter ar Evans are worth $91,000.

Corey Reynolds will the south scout coach come December in Bernard Blackwell Game. Carter will be the head coach. All that info came out today.

If Bubba and the interim superintendent will not listen to Boyles or ask Boyles for advise it will eventually be whomever those 2 put forth. Come July 1 will either of those 2 be in place to put forth anyone may become the 20 dollar question. Wayne County is in a lot of penny mess right now.

Leflore County makes it official. New considered school will open in the fall of 2027. Stay tuned for official name and mascot.

Brand new High School in Leflore County. N ot sure if its 9-12th grades or 7th-12th grades. I think the K-6 or K-8 will be reconfigured. Greenwood, Amanda Elzy, and Leflore County high school kids will go to new school. Attala County nothing has been written, online, etc. You have 2 K-12th grades 16 miles apart plus 1 or 2 K-6 in the central part of the county.

That's exactly what I read. I don’t think they article indicated K-5 tho.

North Tippah is consolidating. Elementary to one campus, Jr High to one campus, and High School to one campus is what I read. New schools don't necessarily have to be built.

There are only going to be like 32 schools playing football. More like 8 or 9 schools per football region is likely.
