I don't necessarily think he's saying that or thinks that. He's just saying that finding a coach at the level of Feaster who would want the PRC job is going to be few and far between. It's going to be a tough row to hoe for any coach, but to be able to land a coach of Feaster's caliber at PRC is definitely going to score some runs. You should be able to tell an immediate difference in year one with him. Edit to clarify: When I say runs, I mean you'll probably be able to see some double digit crooked numbers in a quarter of play. Don't know when or who they'll be against, but it'll be a change of pace for sure.

Well I knew he wasn't going to be on the sidelines on Friday nights, so what you're saying is he won't be there at all, even during the week. Is that correct?

It's really not that surprising. Coming home and having Dodd as an assistant on your staff without you having to do anything is probably plenty enough to push the deal over the top.

He probably would and if that’s who they got, it’s a solid hire.

Feaster?

Interesting. I didn’t realize they were playing someone in a spring game. I wonder if Dodd was the acting interim for that scrimmage?

He better bring his George Dickel or Tin Cup with him. He's gonna need it. Either one of those would make a good shot.

Probably not in 5A. I'd be surprised if there was.

My bad, it was a 3A.

Well the only way to get close to Mancuso is to match the number of rings. Once that happens it'll be close.

That's awesome!!! Hopefully they can win another 2a title this year. They've definitely had a great 3 year run for sure.

If you like circuses and clown shows then yes everything is hunky dory. At least that's a form of entertainment. Gotta find the positive somewhere.

Columbia doesn't need to reinvent the wheel. Whatever it is they've been doing there has worked really well so far. They've just got to keep the train moving forward and keep their coal car full. Whatever it is they do needs to be plug and play so that there's no disruptions to anything (RE: West Point).

That's hitting the nail on the head, hitting the bullseye, or whatever else you want to call it.

With the rain we're getting down here in Picayune today that field in Starkville surely won't be dry tomorrow. They ought to just go ahead and cancel the North Alabama game due to poor field conditions.

Enjoy.

Oh and don’t lose that North Alabama game either that’s coming up in the midweek. We’ll probably take a minor hit even if we win that one via the run rule, so going 4-0 this week is the ideal situation.

Yes we are playing good baseball right now and we actually had 3 good starts by starting pitching which was quite refreshing, but the bullpen has to hold up and do their part. That was the deficiency this weekend.

As good as Parker has been as far as statistically speaking, he is going to have to work his butt off to bring in some quality arms for next season. Hopefully he’ll be able to do that.

As soon as we pulled Pico out of the game, it was an instant meltdown. That won’t get you far in any postseason tournament.

Apparently it was only the 3rd loss Arkansas has had at Baum all season.

I couldn’t relax until that last out was recorded LOL!

State won! Whohoo!

Yep just couldn’t close it out.

Well State is going to have to try to win one tomorrow. Left too many on base.
