They didn’t even get a first down. There was a constant struggle between the center to qb snaps. They were overhiked and underhiked.

I get it and that belief is definitely highly warranted, but let’s see how things shake out. If Hattiesburg self implodes there’s not really any built in stop checks to prevent that from happening, but can they avoid the historical temptation of hitting the self implode button. If they do that, they give themselves a shot. (Along with anyone else.)

MRA should have that livestream shouldn't they? Should be something good to watch at least.
-
And that's ok. As long as they can have a tenant there (like a baseball team), there shouldn't be any issues. I just think it's going to struggle long term and what will happen when you can't find a pro/minor league team to be the primary tenant? That's when you'll need to have a backup plan in place (aka repurposing that area).

That really does sound great in theory, but do you tear down Trustmark Park and replace it with a football stadium or do you keep it and build a new football stadium in addition to it. Belhaven could probably go back to using Smith-Wills if they ever decide to replace Trustmark Park with a football stadium.

Newt’s in Dixie is hard to beat. Their whole fry is where it’s at.

Robinson-Hale is a high school stadium on MC's campus. It's not sufficient to host state title games.
-
Just keep racking up the 5A gold balls. It really is the best venue for the high school state championships. Unless a 20K seat stadium gets built somewhere in central MS, Hattiesburg is the best place for the state championships. I truly hope they can put this mystery rotational crap to bed and keep the thing in Hattiesburg for the foreseeable future.

It should be the only hosting site.

If you go on YouTube and look up 1940 Mississippi State vs. Alabama, it was played at Old Denny Stadium. Mississippi State was running the Singlewing and Alabama was running the Notre Dame Box. You would think that the further football gets away from these old style offenses, the more you would see modern day coaches willing to adapt some of them. With those old style offenses being so different than what is run today, it would provide a different look and challenge for opposing teams. To be different and to do something different, you don't have to reinvent the wheel so to speak. Just do something that hasn't been done in a long time.

Yes I'm aware of that. I just get the vibe that Lebby want to come across as old school and blue collar, which is perfectly ok with me. I just want him to run some old school offense to match his old school vibes. That's easier said than done though.
-
Now we just need a big, bruising Fullback and that'd be aight in my book. I just hope Lebby isn't afraid to go under center or line up in an I or Offset I formation. I wanna see some old school smash mouth football LOL.

Let's see what kind of reaction you get from Dub. LOL

That blinding blue turf ought to be worth a few wins, wouldn’t you think? Heck, why don’t they just get some blue footballs that match the color of the turf and they’ll be set. The upside to that is they’d have plenty of time to practice that way and get used to everything being blue.

Also Ocean Springs hosts Madison Central. @Davidshould be able to give you some insights on Madison Central once he awakes from hibernation. He should be there watching his Greyhounds play.

We play Brandon right out the gate at home, so I’ll have some insights on them after that first game.

I thought about Biloxi, but I had to go with my gut. If I’m wrong, I’ll eat the dang crow .
