Where did that mysterious 33rd win come from? Not that it matters, but don’t you honestly think Taylorsville can do better? I reckon I’m of the opinion that they can and should.

Regardless of what happens with this job hire and whether we agree with it or not, there will definitely be some reaping. Would the optics look better if they go in a different direction than Jimbo? They definitely would and I think it would give that community some peace of mind.

I think Merlin may have touched on it before, but I think the issue with West Jones scheduling is they've got all those Jones County obligations that they've got to meet in their schedule so it cuts down on other teams getting to schedule them in non-district.

Offensively speaking Oak Grove was better than West Jones this past season, but if I could create a hybrid football team I'd take 2023 West Jones defense and our 2019 over 50ppg Maroon Tide offense. That'd be one heck of a team right there.

You seem correct in that assessment. UNO probably should have won last night, but their third base coach got greedy and waived the runner to come to 3rd and State tagged him out on the way to 3rd. It was a rare, ironic break that actually went State's way.
