He graduated

Very good receiver but Gc has a big question mark at QB
-
Yes and Dixon

All I know is the two high school principals are leaving haven’t heard anything about the superintendent leaving
-
You must know something that not many people know. I was told by an insider yesterday that they just selected the candidates that were getting interviews. Sad interviews would start later this week
-
I wouldn’t be shocked to see King try to get out of Hancock for this job
-
I’m not really sure, but it seems that the current admin is getting everything together like they will be doing interviews/hiring
-
Both principals are retiring
-
As a Greene County guy, Morton has much more talent than us on a regular basis
-
To each man his own but I don’t understand why Jones would want to go from one 4a to another 4a with less athletes
-
I honestly believe that the vast majority of high school coaches deeply care about their players. They spend two or three times longer with players than with their own kids everyday. Some are better than others when it comes to caring for the community but most are great guys that would give their players everything possible for them to be successful in life.

I must admit that I was wrong about King not leaving Greene County. I guess money really does speak louder than words. I would think Greene County would promote one of the coronations based on past experience
-
I heard the same
-
Hearing that Bass was offered the job but turned it down because the money wasn’t right
-
I’m assuming he would be referring to Wren at Kemper County or Pulphus at Quitman. Those are probably the only two around the Meridian area really looking to move on.
-
You nailed it
-
King ain’t leaving Greene County
-
Wouldn’t be shocked if Starkville hire Dillon Mitchell or Jeff Stockstill. The superintendent was with Stockstill in Scott County.
-
I would look right down the road for maybe a top assistant at JDC
-
Funny man
-
Boyles was never the Assistant principal at Wayne County just HFC and AD
-
And here lies the problem with the once mighty Wayne County. People are really happy with having a losing season, getting the 3 seed in a bad district, and going to second round because you played a very average South Jones team in the first round. It is really sad that WC has dropped to this level
-
They have a major problem keeping kids from going to Pascagoula and of coast teams that are rolling right now. Like you said, the only way to be successful there is to make sure that middle school group stays together at Moss Point
-
I agree with that. I don’t see anyway that Harmon is welcomed back.

I would like to compare the two occupations. I think that would be a great conversation on a new thread. Back to the current conversation, I never asked what your brother supposedly did for 20+ years. I stated that you have obviously never been a part of this profession and have not been truly involved in the hiring process of a high school coach. For you to say that the stress, strain, and workload of a college coach is not even comparable is completely laughable. Both have big workloads but I’ve never seen a college coach have to teach a state tested class, turn in lesson plans, deal with teachers who literally despise anything/anyone to do with athletics, inventory/distribute equipment, do field/building maintenance, produce with what is giving to them not who they hand pick, and that is just the basics of high school coaching. With all that being said, if you are clueless about this profession then you should never criticize a coach that someone thinks would be a good head coach. I understand that your opinion of my choice is not great, but that doesn’t mean it is wrong.
