  1. Who is the favorite then?
  2. It takes a lot more than just a head coach for teams to be successful.
  3. Have you ever been in the coaching profession or actually hired a high school coach? When it comes to judging high school coaches, you can throw away all of the stuff that big businesses and colleges use to make hires. High school coaching is extremely personal when it comes to hiring. You don’t simply choose someone based off a resume like you do in other professions or in colleges. In big business and college coaching, you are hired to do one specific job. In high school coaching, you have a multitude of jobs that you have to fill.
  4. He has been successful everywhere he has been other than Long Beach. I don’t think anyone would have been very successful with the teams he had at Long Beach
  5. Its not a great job, but Heidelberg wasn’t either when Carter took over.
  6. May I ask what on your resume says you’re a great chooser of HFC?
  7. Good coaches always draw attention when there are openings
  8. I would not be shocked to see the DC from Petal interview for one of these jobs. He is young, energetic, and has a great resume. He is a guy that you could build a program around.
  9. Lane Brady is the guy interviewing, but he isn’t an assistant at Taylorsville anymore. I heard that a head coach in smith county is interviewing and is probably the favorite to get the job.
  10. This could be a good job for Lane Brady. It’s a resume building job. Might be a good fit
  11. He is a good coach with coast connections. He’s going to be a successful head coach one day
  12. I don’t see King leaving Greene County
  13. Lane Brady should have a great chance at landing this job.
  14. Sounds like a great job for Lane Brady
  15. I never said Russum wasn't a good quality coach. I just said that Bilderback called the defense. I think Cluff would be a really good option if they want somebody for one year.
  16. I gotcha. I just know Chip is a big time defensive guy and that he likes to be in control. I haven't heard anything negative about Russum either
  17. Exactly! LOL Nah that's honestly just a running joke about him being the lead candidate in every job opening
  18. In theory that is how it works, in actuality a lot of head coaches call plays on offense or defense. I know for a fact that Bilderback called the defense
  19. He was head coach at Perry Central for two years. I think he was be a good fit for a year. He only needs one more year to retire and his son is going to be a senior.
  20. You are either crazy or clueless if you really think that Chip let Bo run the defense. Bo was never a 5 front cover 3 guy, but Chip loves that style.
  21. I guess that's what happens when you're a good coach.
