I heard from my source in Smith County that the superintendent is interviewing everybody that applied so that he can tell the board that he has looked at every option but Jimbo was the only guy that was good enough. I was also told that if Jimbo doesn't get board approved Tville is ask Brady to reconsider taking the job

What is the latest word in Smith county? Word down here is the DC from Stone County is supposedly interviewing this week

I’m not so sure that Fortenberry is a candidate anymore. There is no way he could take a $10,000 pay cut. I’ve heard rumors about the DC at Florence and the OC at Velma being the two candidates.

That's absolutely crazy if they take the AD position away from the Head FOOTBALL coach. That is what makes small school look good for potential head coaches. Who are they giving it to if it's not the head football coach?
