It was at Usm 2 years in row to give then it was to go back to msu in 2020 and something happened to move it to Jackson. I forget what. After that it was assumed to go back to msu but ended up at Usm. But the games at usm, every class, all 3 years it’s been there, have averaged higher attendance than anywhere else. And it should. Most of the states population lives south of I-20. More average fans will go watch games even if their teams aren’t in them. And Hattiesburg is easier to get too with higher number of state highways and the interstate around it than anywhere in the state except for Jackson.

You are selling the rights to some carpetbaggers who are farming it out to some local rubes being paid nothing. Spend some of that money and get these guys out of the equation. I would probably pay thirty bucks for a reliable feed for all the games. That’s two games I would have went to. Which will probably be three in the end because I will actually physically go to one. Everyone wants it. You would only have to pay the tech people. You could feature some broadcasters from around the state whose teams aren’t playing. I know Kenny and Marshall would probably do one if you paid for their room and feed. It just needs organizing. Why do we keep having this crap product when we deserve better from our state ?

At the college level I agree. Any level below that I’m going run heavy. Your odds of winning increase being run heavy at the high school level. The numbers don’t lie. And if you don’t have much talent, it increases your odds even more. Not just a wing offense, but any run heavy offense. The wing is just the most popular. Wing-T, double wing.

I caught the interview mid-way through, wish I had heard the whole thing. Would have loved to hear some comment about the crappy streaming issues with NFHS.

Trophy was the same size though. you are correct about the refs. Matter of fact throughout the playoffs the officiating I saw was very good. I give them enough hell throughout the season they should get credit when they just officiate the game and don’t try to be a factor in it.
