Hopefully, Pascagoula awakens one day but that's one heckuva dream contingent upon two very big decisions. Just so long as I don't have to sit out and fry at War Memorial Stadium I'm game for whatever. That 2020 game was just weird on every level. Gator22
I just read various responses to opinions concerning what classifications will look next year. Predictions were given for Region 3-6A, Region 4-7A, and Region 4-6A. Gautier was never mentioned. What gives. Why is there so little recognition? Is Gautier just a parcel of land between Ocean Springs and Pascagoula? Has Gautier been consolidated with another school district? Ocean Springs and Pascagoula have never played Gautier. Is there a reason for the omission of Gautier by any of those that made predictions?

Because Gautier is going to be 5A and I have not gotten a clear read in who will all be 5A, mainly the coast region. You will have East Central, Vancleave, Gautier and probably Stone. After that, I am unsure of who would fit for region 4-5A. You are way too sensitive my friend. Not everything on this board is a dig at Gautier or slighting them. Lighten up, you will need it to last on this board.

Wayne County has been sent down to the coast region when a region 3 school is bumped down.

You have 3 teams West 49, 2 east of 49 then u have add South or Wayne. I wouldn't be surprised. My brother in law told me they started further east and further north for Region 1 and continued that pattern.

MSSportsGuy
This really is no different than what most of us feel and wonder when we hear about the realignment of college athletic conferences? Remember when A&M and Missouri joined the SEC and ESPN was all about the next dominos to fall? This is just our smaller, less financially driven version of that lol.

I saw another post on here that said they turned in less than West Harrison which means West Harrison is probably on that fringe line as well. So if they both were to stay 6A, that would mean George County most likely bumps to region 3. If either of them are 7A, George County stays in region 4. Heck both could be 7A and Hattiesburg and George County join Region 4! That would be fun LOL
