At least you came back on here that’s progress I guess.
Mendenhall was sitting on plays for a drive they could score wit. Their coach was holding them in case Laurel scored again. Lower classification football. Nights like tonight with the soaked field, raining on and off. It negates all that speed and cutting. You going to have to win one or two games like that in the playoffs. Everybody is.

Is Mendenhall 3a or 4a and if im not mistaken isn't laurel right on the reclassification line to being dropped down?

Laurel was tied with Vancleave as the smallest 5A school.  They’ll probably still be 5A once we go to 7 classifications next year.  Also I believe Mendenhall is 4A and Magee is 3A.  They’ll be a decent sized school when they form Simpson County Central or whatever they are going to call it.

I seriously doubt they would still be a 4A school after consolidation.  They should be a decent sized 5A school at the very least.  What kind of historical connection does 49ers have with Simpson County?  Were there some guys in Simpson County in 1848 that went to California for the gold rush or something?

4A+3A=7A (Stooge Math)

I remember when Wayne County went through consolidation a pretty good number of students went to the Academy. Now they are so many people that Home School that’s another option. With the storied history between the two schools I am sure Simpson Academy is about to see an increase in enrollment.
