Has WLOX done a good job within the last 10 years of covering Pearl River County? Sure they have, but back then (the 2003-2004 range) we probably had more WDAM & WLBT coverage once the regular season started. It's all good though and I understand your point. Same thing for GC when they were in in region 3-6A

I'm excited for y'all to make the trip to Picayune on October 21st. Hopefully we'll have some nice fall weather by then. I remember freezing my butt off in 2002 in Lucedale when we lost to y'all in the playoffs. That was a very cold night that night, but a great football game nonetheless. I would definitely understand the 3 northernmost "Southern Six" counties getting coverage from both H'Burg and Coast tv stations.

Heck their practice field is better than their playing field. It is turf.

maroontide06
Why would Gulfport spend all that money to turf their practice field, but not Milner? I know that the high school is in Mississippi City and Milner isn't even close to the high school, but that still doesn't really make any sense. Dubaction
I could be wrong but I think Oxford has the QB to give that Brandon secondary fits. Wouldn’t surprise me if it goes down to the wire.

ogwarriorbandman
If Harrison Central scores 24 or more against Oak Grove I will be way wrong on our D. I guess it is possible if we pull starters early.

I think your score prediction in that one could be very well justified, but I would just like to channel your inner thoughts on that game. I honestly feel like if PRC loses that game that bad then they will be pressing the entire season. I understand that realistically speaking, they will probably be on the outside looking in come playoff time but they actually have a reasonable path to 4 wins that would get them a playoff berth while having an overall losing season record. As long as those players are getting the proper coaching, which they probably are, then George County won't have anything to worry about. George County is always a tough battle regardless. Basing it a little off Hancock jamboree and seeing them in the spring. They have the size to stop PRC and score regularly in my opinion. PRC might be biting off more than they can chew scheduling 6A opponents even if Hancock is a bad 6A school. The problem with that is PRC won't get any reprieve next year because they will be a definite lock for 6A.
