rebmus
This is gearing up to be a very wild season. #1 Bama loses to Vandy. #11 USC is tied with Minnesota at the half. #10 Michigan is trailing Washington 14-10 at the half. #4 Tennessee is losing to Arkansas 3-0 at the half. #9 Mizzou got owned by #25 Texas A&M 41-10. #22 Louisville lost to SMU 34-27.(This and the next really aren't big upsets, but other ranked teams losing... potentially losing today) #25 UNLV lost to Syracuse 44-41. I'm tempted to throw some money on Cal beating #8 Miami before kickoff. IF Arkansas pulls off the upset, Texas will be the only undefeated SEC team this early in the season. And Texas has Oklahoma and Georgia in consecutive weeks. There won’t be an undefeated SEC team. Very possible a two loss team in the SECCG. NoWammies
I’ve currently got $200 on Michigan ML. I know it’s tough to go on the road all the way to Washington but not sure why Washington was favored because they haven’t looked all that great this year. I mean neither had Michigan but still. rebmus
The polls should be interesting tomorrow. #1 Bama beat #5 Georgia just last week, yet Bama lost to unranked Vandy today while Georgia won. Obviously, Georgia will be #5 or better... will Bama land 1 spot ahead of Georgia in the new poll? Arkansas trailing #UT 14-10 in the 4th quarter but driving after a dumb penalty by UT. NoWammies
Proud to be a Cal alum tonight but having to get up at 4AM for my next watch makes me not like this ACC after dark so much. Hopefully I wake up to another upset.

NoWammies
A trend that needs to stop and I sound like my dad when he use to say “act like you’ve done it before” is pretending to shoot someone after making a big play. Saw it happen four times yesterday and all resulting in unsportsmanlike penalties. Happened in the LSU/USC game too. Also the lifting up the shirt to pretend like you’re packing a weapon. That got called a couple times today. I guess I’m just getting old. OAN but also penalty related. If launching yourself helmet first into another players helmet isn’t targeting then I don’t know what is anymore. The ACC refs struck again helping Miami. Still no reason for Cal to blow a 20 point lead with 10 mins to go though.
Dawg83
Man sounds like I picked a bad night to get sick and not watch football. Didn’t see anything after the Bama game and goodness gracious the scores…. I am floored that Tennessee lost to Arkansas. And it wasn’t even the biggest SEC upset of the day. Bulldogs4
The fact that TN only scored 14 points against AR is very surprising. TN deserved to lose after the defense laid down and gave up the winning TD to AR. Poor coaching IMO. If you don’t have confidence in your players to stop the other team at goal line then you are a poor coach. And the TN defense had only given up 13 points in 59 minutes of action. Cal blew a 25 point lead. Auburn remembers doing that a few years back. Ole Miss, Georgia & FL took care of business. A&M demolished Mizzou who IMO was vastly overrated. They are a good team but not a top ten. Interesting that UK, SC and OM played a round robin with each team being 1-1 and the road team won all three games. Vandy dominated the LOS offensively against Bama. 40 points, 42 minutes of ball possession. The last possession was the icing on the cake. Ran out the clock decisively. Milroe will get vilified by his critics but he did not play that bad. One INT and the sack/fumble. Scored 35 points which should have been enough to win the game. Dawg83
Yesterday was a very good day for Ole Miss. Not only the win but so many others losing, and who they lost to…. Makes the Kentucky loss seem like much less of a big deal by comparison.

MSTSatchmo
Looking at the schedules, LSU needs this one worse than OM. They have a pretty brutal schedule left.

Dawg83
One team I would not rule out for Atlanta and the Playoff….. A&M 3-0 in the SEC, only two ranked opponents the rest of the year (LSU and Texas), and both have to come to College Station.
pancho
they do seem to have the easiest road of any SEC team at this point. Elko dropping F bombs defending his QB as well.
Bulldogs4
I am not sure anyone has an easy road to Atlanta. On paper maybe A&M does but any road game could be quicksand for a team on a given Saturday. And LSU & Texas even at home are going to be tough games. They have games @ State, SC and Auburn that all should be wins but if they have that dreaded off game and sloppy they could lose one of those (even State). I said at the beginning of the year that the team that can win a couple of ugly games will be a leg up on the others . Ole Miss has lost one but they are in still in good shape. Just can’t afford another one.
NoWammies
I sure wish I shared the same Ole Miss doesn’t need it as much and Ole Miss can probably afford to lose another game feeling as some of y’all. I feel like every game is a do or die at this point and def need to win games against ranked teams when we face them to better the perception that’s been created with the early season OOC schedule.
