They will dominate 1A similar to the way bay springs did last year. They would likely be the 2A favorite this season had they stayed in 2A. I’ve watched 3 Charleston games, 2 Union games, 2 Raleigh games and 2 Bay Springs games and from what I’ve seen I’d have it 1. Charleston 2. Union 3. Raleigh 4. Bay Springs As of now the only common opponent would be Newton County for Union and Raleigh which Union won and Raleigh lost. I haven’t seen Calhoun City play this year but was impressed with how well they handled a good Nettleton team. From the four I have seen, Charleston is the more overall better team and has played the tougher schedule. I’m sure they’ve got some bruises, but they should be able to heal up the next two weeks against O’Bannon and Riverside before closing out with two tough ones against NorthSide and Leflore County.
