I think Loyd Star will pull it out in a close game, but Lake is more than capable of pulling the upset in that one. Region 7 is a pretty weak region. I was much more impressed with Heidelberg than Collins. They are very similar in a lot of ways, but Heidelberg plays harder and gives more effort from what I saw. The issue with Collins, at least from what I saw in their game against Mize, is that their players play both offense and defense like most all other smaller schools. And they pass the ball so many times that their WR’s are gassed when it comes time to play defense and they use their time on defense to take breaks. They give much more effort when they are on offense than they do while on defense. I think Heidelberg actually makes a statement and beats Collins kind of soundly 35-14. Those are the only two teams they have played they don’t have a losing record, and Bogue Chitto is 4-4 and trying to avoid being the 4 seed in their region next week. The rest of their opponents have an average record of 2-7. They won’t make it past the 1st round unless collins just doesn’t show up. But Collins is prone to have games where that happens. Your reading it wrong: Higher seed host round 1 2 seed goes to 1 seed in round 2 3 seed host 1 seed in round 2 4 seed host 2 seed in round If I am not mistaken and it's rare that a 3 seed has the opportunity to host a 4 seed.
