Worse than that wing. the only reason WC won this game is because they could line up, snap the ball, give it to the back or pass it to a spot inbounds. Every series at lest once their center would skip the snap past the QB. The way nothing flowed or being unable to do anything well reminded me of our team. Which is a testament to how far Laurel has fallen. Forgiveness requested, but as bad as Wayne County is Laurel is far worse.

coastalball
WCs offense seems to have come alive in that past couple of weeks. If they manage to keep this going, they have a realistic shot at making it to Round 2.

That’s a solid hour commute one way everyday.
ManCoverage
I could see Reynolds applying. I think there are some very good coordinators in the area that could be interested in that job that would be hard to not look at.

Sometimes home is the worst place to coach. You have a lot of outside pressure

That ship won’t be straightened in the next 2-3 years at least.

PigskinPrognosticator
Yep Jesse fire Buckley before he could get off the field after losing to ECCC on homecoming. Quite the debacle

Quite the debacle I think some were wanting him gone after last season but he was kept but on a thin rope and that loss snapped it. To be honest Jones has underachieved quiet s bit the last 10 years and it’s getting worse. All the football talent around here and these kids going to other juco’s that have never amounted to much and turning them around while jones flounders. slicklizard
Harrington- No. enough with the jones county rejects Reynolds- No. Doesn’t value athleticism at the QB enough. One of our current problems Earnest - I could support it for a time as he can make defense account for the QB both running and throwing. He would a super strong aggressive DC though. Our kids wouldn’t quit like Laurels has.. Unless any of these run the fail bone that Hathorne requires their application would go straight to the trash. I would trade another year of slim fast as a HC if it meant Hathorne was put in the street. I know of of our newly elected BOE members can’t stand him . The other I can work on I think. So maybe there is a glimmer of hope.

Our offense could barely put up twenty points too against that sorry defense in Laurel. I don’t have any high hopes for the postseason
