Schedules getting close to region games. It’s not easy to keep up with who is playing who. Gulfport shows a region game this Friday while Petal plays a non region with West Jones. Do they play more region games on the coast this week and no where else ? Why ?

 

The drive by media for HS football are salivating all over Tupelo again this season. The worst kept secret in the state is how they have recruited their way to beating up on HS kids with selected players who they let go to school there from other districts.  That’s even if they go to school there and not just show up to play football. They might as well do it because it looks they have the green light to do whatever they  want concerning it..Why won’t someone call them out over it media wise ? Cowards, it won’t come back on  you . They know they cheat.

Tupelo was lower middle in football up until about what five, six, seven years ago  now they are are perennial  favorites. Holy jesus it’s a miracle. Their hard work has just paid off , eh ? Media and MHSAA are jokes in this situation and are inept to deal with it.

Tupelo and your supporters you lie to yourself if  you stick your chest out . Dirty program and dirty administration . Who’s gaining from this propped up crap ?

 

Brookhaven I’m really tired of hearing about . They have won thirteen or fourteen in a row . I hope the streak continues through the regular season because about fifteen games is usually where HS teams in this state top out at before it gets broken. Meaning someone will get them in the playoffs.  They go to Laurel in the first game of the region. So they could be on the clock now. Lose one and it will put them on the road in the playoffs. I would love for your out of state arse to have to come to Waynesboro . I say out of state because it may as well be that way. It’s so dam far out of the way that the other regions have to be scrambled to accommodate for their isolated location.

 

 

 

Wayne Academy traveled to a private school in Baton Rouge last season all the way from Waynesboro after having to agree to a home at home with them. Surprise surprise, they called last week and told Wayne Academy that they had several sick players and wasn’t gonna be able to play the game. Mississippi schools quit having anything to do with Louisiana athletics. They destroyed their system and if you keep letting them rub up against their athletics in this state they’ll destroy it too.

 

 

I really hope we can get a weekly region schedule going. It’s getting hard to keep up with games that are on the horizon that some may would like to attend.

 

Hattiesburg people how do you guys feel about Vance now? Y’all used to wonder and get your feathers ruffled when the rest of us would complain about him. Now you can see what everybody else was seeing at that time. Could somebody give us an update on what happened to get Lacey so riled. I didn’t think at the time that Tony resigned behind the scenes he was forced out..  The route tree and quarterback play last season shows that whoever forced him out did the right thing. Y’all wasted a lot of good players with that  Charleston offense he was trying to run.

Lacey is a class act in a respectful dude. Y’all should try to hang onto him and more importantly learn from him. He knows how to treat the game.

 

 

How did a team fall from grace the way Columbia did? The word has always been they had a great coach. Maybe he’s just using this early schedule to figure out what he’s got and he’s about to show us something. I haven’t seen them play, but people who have say that doesn’t look like the case. In any event, Poplarville is coming for the rent. They don’t want cash you’re not getting a receipt and they may want a deposit for the next time.

 

 

I wish the 4A title game was down here somewhere this season instead pf in the middle of the  Noxubee refuge. That way people besides the fans of each team could go see it. Those games shouldn’t go any further north than interstate 20. If that offend some then so be it. They are better in Hattiesburg that’s been proven over the last 10 years. I used to scoff at the Meridian people saying to hold them at Ray Stadium. I’m starting to rethink that. Fix something in Jackson  Rotate the event between Meridian Jackson Hattiesburg. Everybody could drive to those. Having them in places that 10 minutes after you leave the stadium you won’t see another street light for the next 2 1/2 hours. Everybody likes it better down here.

way too risky to have anything in  Jackson even in daylight unless fans are allowed to pack heat. Why were the championship games not slated for USM this December?  I was told at Starkville last December that the games would be at the Rock in December of 26. I attend each year regardless and enjoy being on all 3 campuses.  Why has it been such a dry spell since the games weren't held at ole miss?   Pretty big bold words from a dude who thinks the MSU campus is the Noxubee Refuge.

 I'd recommend coming to the Tupelo public school district office and view the address of each student athlete in the entire school as they are  public record. All the 3* and 4* talent at tupelo the last few years all attended elementary school in tupelo. Some have moved in in recent years but  I'll assure you, they have made bona fide moves and are legal regardless of what is said otherwise.  On3 is an excellent source to chart the games of each team statewide.  We look and review them almost daily.   just try On3 Mississippi High School Football and see what the ole internet spits out.  It's real easy man.

Tupelo is even recruiting next years class already by going ahead and lining up several players that include the Quarterback from East Webster and several other key positional players. No one will bat an eye when he “announces” his move from EW to Tupelo.

The guy who directed each TD drive in the win vs Heidelberg while the veteran senior QB who had put in his weight room time started and got 90% of the snaps? Imagine that, I'm surprised he didn't enroll elsewhere this season
