They have a really weird resume. Some good wins and perplexing losses. I know their QB is Robby Ashford so the two QB’s in this game may rush for 400 yards. Didn’t realize they were 8-4. And Wow what a strange resume. If I were to guess States gonna be around a -5 favorite? We’re not very good. But we’re not lose to a middle-of-the pack ACC team bad
Bulldogs4
Looking at WF’s schedule, they are a pretty good team. One bad loss to Free Shoes. But a one point loss to GT, and losses to NC State and Duke. Some good wins in there including VA, SMU, NC and Kennesaw State (who won the CUSA and won 10 games). Should be a very competitive game. DrownInEtown
State opens up -3. This game may just be a matter of who’s more cohesive within the next month. State’s bringing in a new DC and has lost some players to the portal. Not sure what WF’s situation is

I like their head coach a lot. Jacob Dickert will be at a big job within a few years if he wants it. They went 4-8 the two prior years and flipped it to 8-4 in his first season this year. Dawg83
According to Lebby, Kamario and Kromenhoek are the only two scholarship QB’s traveling to the bowl game. Shapen has already left the team. Thus completely ends the era of one of the stranger MSU QB experiences I can recall.

And that was the game ended the misery of the last two years and started State’s comeback to relevancy. I will always appreciate his effort and I believe he helped bring KT along during the season. hasbeen67
Oklahoma looking to blow Alabama out so far. Do Alabama players suspect their coach is leaving?
pancho
He'll probably leave by mid January regardless.
Bulldogs4
Well that aged well. Bama totally dominated the game from the second quarter on.
DrownInEtown
Wouldn’t be surprised if they crawl theirselves into the title game. But the real national championship will be 3rd round Georgia vs Ohio State
Bulldogs4
I have not looked at the bracket but Alabama should beat Indiana. The Hoosiers have had a great season but they are playing a different animal in Bama this year. And yes I know they beat the ohio state but even they are not the same team this year. The win at Oregon is impressive as well but that was really their only two difficult games this year (out of 13). I still think Jawja is going to win it all. They finished the season on another level from everyone else.
DrownInEtown
Indiana opens -7. Can’t understand how with that talent disparity

Dawg83
Miami takes down A&M and will face Ohio State next. Ole Miss vs Tulane feels like a waste of time early. lol.
Bulldogs4
Tulane totally overmatched. Have to give a lot of credit to the Ole Miss players. They have handled all this coaching adversity very well. Last two games they have played very well.

Bulldogs4
TNT got two snooze fest games today. Ratings are probably so low they are looking up at Australia. Games should have been Miami-Oklahoma Vandy-Notre Dame A&M-Ole Miss Oregon - Bama or some combination thereof with no rematches. Would have been competitive with good ratings.
MSTSatchmo
How does everyone think OM would have looked offensively if they didn’t have the coaches on “loan” from LSU?

Bulldogs4
Georgia is playing at another level and this will be a monumental task for Ole Miss. It is very difficult to beat a really good team twice in one season. But the Georgia of today is not the same animal that Ole Miss faced a couple of months ago. A pro Ole Miss crowd will help Ole Miss but at this juncture it’s hard to see them pulling out a win. For sure a great opportunity awaits. Former Coach
Tulane, JMU, or any other G5 teams have no business playing in the playoffs. This has to be fixed, do away with the automatic conference bids and get the top 12 ranked teams in the playoffs regardless of what conference they're in. If they must have a G5 let the top two have a play in game the week before the playoffs begin.
Bulldogs4
They really need to have a G5 playoff with 16 teams. Why not? It would make sense. Offset their games with the P4 and keep about 10 of the most historical bowl games for 20 other deserving teams. Those games could be interspersed through the Christmas season. That would cover it very well then.
