So what do they do now? Start the process all over or go to number 3 or 4 on their list?

I seriously doubt there was a list to begin with.  If there was a list of candidates who wanted the job, wouldn't they have made a hire by now?  Trying to swim upstream with a 60 foot tall waterfall in front of you isn't the ideal route to take.

If King vacates Greene, then who's in line to be the be the next head coach for the Wildcats?

I must admit that I was wrong about King not leaving Greene County. I guess money really does speak louder than words. I would think Greene County would promote one of the coronations based on past experience

Hey we’ve all had to eat some crow around here.  Don’t sweat it.

For all in the kingdom of Greene County, a new KING is upon us!

Hearken, ye folk of Greene County, for a great change hath come to pass upon the field of battle known as the gridiron. Lo, the mantle of head coach, once borne by the noble Michael King, hath now been passed unto the worthy hands of Brodie King, erstwhile master of Ocean Springs' quarterbacks and a warrior of Mississippi State in days past. Verily, Michael King, having led his host to a most valorous campaign of eight victories and but two defeats in the year past, hath now taken his leave to command the forces of Hancock High.

Now doth Brodie King, a knight well-versed in the arts of the game, take up the standard of Greene County. From the halls of Biloxi High to the stronghold of Jones College, he hath honed his craft, proving himself a worthy steward of the sport. The people of Greene County, with high hopes and steadfast hearts, look to him to lead their warriors to further glory. May his wisdom guide them aright, and may the victories of Greene County resound as a mighty song through the land!

Yeah, no he won't
