not sure velma would have been the better team if they stayed in 2A it would have been close but I am not quite sold on anything about them besides the running back#9 that they got over there.

You haven’t seen them much then. They have a squad. They return almost their entire team from last season. They also handled Scott central pretty easily in their spring jamboree.

I think an important fact you might have missed was about 10 kids were still in baseball cause SC advanced to south state in baseball so the glass can look one way and entirely be another. And the quick shots down the field by velma was really the only difference. But that neither here or there. I wouldn't place a lot of stock into a spring game entirely.

Well it wasn’t quite 10 players, but there may have been a handful. Scott Central only had 17 on their baseball roster in total. And that’s including their seniors. Velma is the only team other than bay springs that caused SC to break a sweat, and I saw them first hand in the 2nd round of the playoffs. They were the south state runner ups in 2A. They return most of that team, including their best overall players. They should have a dominant team in 1A ball. Scott Central is just like Raleigh, they lost close to 20 starters. You cannot lose that much without having a drop off. That’s just how it is.

You don't understand the Mancuso playback. Raleigh will be ready and well coached.

Yes they will be. But I talk to Raleigh people quite a bit. And the fans are super unrealistic. They really think they will be close to what they were last season, and that’s just not gonna happen. Raleigh will still go 9-2 or 8-3, win their region, and go deep in the playoffs. But there will be a drop off.

Tville and Raleigh are the only two teams on our schedule who could beat us, though I don’t see it happening for both of them. Heidelberg could beat us, but it would take us having an off night. Collins might be more competitive this season, they have some athletes.

Both Taylorsville and Raleigh will beat Mize and so will Enterprise. Mize will not be as good as you think they will be.

Tville and Raleigh have a chance. About 50/50. Enterprise I’m not the least bit concerned about. I’m probably more concerned with mount olive than I am enterprise.

You better hope your players and coaches are not as cocky as you are.

I’m not gonna lie. Sometimes I wonder if you’ve been diagnosed with being bipolar or post as a joint account like couples do on FB because you’re guilty of being an unrealistic homer then go and make comments like this. Over the 10+ years I’ve been on here with you, you’ve put Enterprise on a pedestal that would be higher than South Panola was during their dynasty run.

Mize will go 7-3 at best; maybe 6-4 or 5-5 at worst. They just dont have the talent or athletes to compete with Taylorsville, Enterprise or Raleigh. Wesson and Heidelberg are toss ups. In South 2A Raleigh Bay Springs Scott Central maybe even Lake will be better than Mize.

Why do you even post on this topic?   Enterprise is a very weak 3A team why are you worried about 2A
