One or two decent sized players, but overall not very big. I was told last season that Enterprise was going to see a big drop off after that class graduated. That seems to be the case. I will say however that I believe Jimmerson will get the most out of them. Enterprise returns six starters on offense and defense We return our top two RBs Zykarius Sims and Ja'Karuis Pickens; plus Harris Burt who is another great RB. Our two returning offensive tackles are bog guys and Tim Miller who will be a junior is about 6'7 and 250 pounds. Sims and Pickens could be the best tailback tandem in 3A. Our DL and LB corps did get decimated by graduation but most of the secondary returns. Our QB will be smaller faster and more athletic than our QB last year. I'm hoping he can do for us and be the kind of player Ty Murphy was for Eupora last year. How big Enterprise is or isnt will have no correlation to Enterprise's success. Raleigh totally shut them down. Lions were in the backfield quit a bit. Enterprise has a long way to go to get back to a 2 seed.
doyouevencoachbro
Kossuth is probably the only team in the North who has a chance against Winona just because they will be senior heavy. Maybe North Panola because of athleticism, but it is hard for me to belive anyone has a shot to beat Winona. They should walk through the North without breaking a sweat. Chunky6617
Enterprise will play hard. Don’t have to worry about that. But they are in for a rebuilding season.

Choctaw County could be a sleeper and will get to see them early in the season in a non district match against Winona. East Webster brings back a lot and could be a sleeper as well but gotta see how they do with the jump from 2A to 3A in year 1.

Loose either of those 2 games and who knows. 3 seed and an end of season on the road in SW Mississippi is possible.

Don’t know why he doesn’t call it like it is. Really makes an entire message board root against eprise. Meanwhile the people of that area are fantastic, hard working, salt of the earth people.

They have a terrific supportive fan base of good people and I pull for Coach Jimmerson because he’s a loyal coach that’s gotten a lot out of the teams he’s coached while at Enterprise. wildcatnation662
Noxubee County will have their hands full in 3A South in the playoffs! The South is alot harder in 3A than the North. Wont be a cakewalk at all. Remember they havent beat a South team yet in 3A

Noxubee will outplay Hazlehurst unless the officials help Hazlehurst at home. Don't count out St Stanislaus or South Pike if I am correct that they are 3A now. I know we’re talking about Mancuso here but don’t underestimate Teddy Young cuz the guy can coach as well. His adjustments are what won them the playoff game against Amory last year in a rematch that they lost earlier in the season.

That's what I'm curious to see - How much better will Southeast Lauderdale be with Brian Ford at the helm? I really think they will be better and more competitive. I don't know if that will equate to more wins, but it should. Maybe a few more because they should have some winnable games on their schedule. Even if their improvements don't show up as wins in the win/loss column, there will definitely be improvements because there are small victories within the game that will not show up via the scoreboard. Getting a state title winning coach at Southeast Lauderdale has no doubt breathed some fresh life into that program.

Ain’t he been ran off of most places he’s been? Neshoba didn’t let him finish the school year. They may win a couple games but I’d credit the last coach for making the schedule more reasonable right before they ran him out of town

I seriously doubt he’s been ran off anywhere and I don’t know what happened at Neshoba, but I can promise you if there was something he didn’t like about that program or if they weren’t going to give him the liberty he needed to be their head coach then they probably had some unreconcilable differences. He’s won over 60% of his games, won a state title at Lumberton, played for another against his future team on the opposite sideline with Simmons, and has been a head coach for over 20 years. He’s had way more success than a majority of Mississippi High School Head Football Coaches and most importantly he’s a good coach. It may be difficult to win at Southeast Lauderdale and it may take some time, but it certainly isn’t impossible. I think there will be an improvement there in year 1, even if the improvement is small.
