Very intense rivalry inspired a year long tv show you can still watch on YouTube plus the game that year was televised. These two teams battled it out twice a year with the winner usually playing for a State title. It was a friendly rivalry with pages of fun poked at each other on MST 1000’s of fan attended the game. I can remember being in line at lunch to get in a gate that opened at 5:00. It was kind of strange having camera crews and boom mics everywhere lol. It’s a really good look inside high school football and at that time two really good programs.
