Enterprise has a really good football team. Raleigh is better, most everybody would agree. That doesn’t mean Enterprise can’t beat Raleigh in a given game, but it would take Raleigh having an off night and Enterprise being on their A game. I think Jimmerson has done as good of a job there as anybody could have done, and this guy here on MST wanted him fired a few years ago.

What’s the rule on JV and junior high? I was told that a junior high player could not play both junior high football and also JV with the high school. Yet I know teams that are doing it

Mize 14-6 over Loyd Star. Sloppy game, a lot of fumbles, too many offensive penalties. But better than a loss. Defense played great.

Jimbo has been all over the place. Many people don’t know he was actually the strength and conditioning coach at Mississippi State under Croom, and was fired from there I believe as well. He’s coached at multiple places, and any coach will tell you that he knows football… he just has no self control.

The sidelines stay wet at Raleigh. It holds water too much. I have coached many a youth football games there, and it’s always a wet mess on the visitor sideline.

Enteprise will be ok. They had a kazillion fumbles at the jamboree, but they did ok. They are not the 3A contender I thought they might be though. The linemen they lost last season will be a bigger loss than I anticipated. Playoff team, but not a contender to win it all.

They are very good. Raleigh will beat them, but Raleigh is very good too.

Actually, Magee and Taylorsville will first play at Wayne county, Friday at 5:00 pm. Then, after that game, Raleigh and Bay Springs will play

Heidelberg isn’t great, but they aren’t bad. Should finish in the top 2 of their region which is not a strong region.
