For the record I’m a fan of both I would love to see both schools be successful. With Coach Breland being an old WC assistant and having two other WC assistants on staff they could be building a winning program.

Never did I say they were recruiting JPS kids get your story straight. I asked if because of consolation of JPS schools did that have any affect on the kids moving to Florence. I know nothing about Florence recruiting anyone or have I ever accused them of it.

You’re full of crap even you can’t be dumb enough to believe that. Private schools are not the only ones who recruit either public schools also do what they can to get an advantage.

Name any coach that hasn’t recruited in MAIS period. I’ll wait and be truthful

No shame in Williams beating you he’s a helluva player. But in general I hate these high school all star games. Sure it’s great for the kids to be recognized. But you have limited time together to practice and scheme. God forbid a serious injury just recognize them and move on to the next level.

I believe they were meaning people moving out there from JPS or they could have been mistaken.

Is this why I’ve heard schools like Florence and Terry are picking up kids from JPS?

I hate to say it like this but I watched all classes of both Mississippi and Alabama State Championship games. I saw better talent and coaching especially in the larger classes. I know all the talent didn’t play for state titles either.

As far as I know there’s no changes. I heard a rumor that Coach Luker had put in for a head job but just a rumor as far as I know.

It’s not laughable look at Todd Mangum and Todd Breland. Draw your retirement plus a pretty hefty payday from a private school. I’m not saying he’s going anywhere but a lot of public school coaches are weighing their options.

He is very knowledgeable of the sport and High school football in general. I know my opinion is only that my opinion. You don’t have to be good at something if you have the right connections and that he does

He also let 10-15 seconds run off of the clock before calling timeout with 5 seconds left in the game. I thought the ground caused the fumble if so it would have been 1st down on the one yard line. So they had time to clock the ball and get one more play.
