I just happened to stumble onto the second half of MSU. Not a bad watch. They will need to work on beating the press. That's what almost cost them the game after being up pretty big. The next opponents will try also after seeing that. Not a basketball guy at all, but I'd think you throw over it a couple times, and they back off.

Are the traditional blue bloods going to continue to hold as much weight with NIL and portal? I'd image that played into Saban's decision to get out now. It's like the wild west out there - kill or be killed.

I wouldn't disagree on Browns, just hard to say what they'll get in QB play. Outside of that, I'd say their overall roster as good as any. The NFL playoffs are almost like a different sport from regular season. They let them play. The advantage goes to the most physical teams more like old school football.

On Judkins, as far as being set up to win, there aren't many better opportunities. I know he was hurt some this year, but I don't know that he did much someone else couldn't have.

I wondered about Blanton. I think he wants to play baseball too.

The last TE State had playing QB worked out pretty well. Having a pretty good year in NFL. But, yeah, Jefferson's not exactly the same deal. I did wonder about him earlier on.

Last night was the first time I've really watched Washington. Johnson was running over people. Led me to wonder what other transfer/former high school players with Mississippi ties are still playing. Thomas I know, but I'm sure there are others.

Why did A&M make the decision now? They not beat MSU bad enough? What about Patrino? I've just never thought Fisher came across as super sharp. I don't what to say for MSU. It's bad, but who could you get? It'll require a lot of money for coaching and players to turn it around. I don't know if the fan base can come up with it. I sincerely don't want to be disrespectful, but how many SEC level starters, at least the way they've looked this year, are there on the roster?

Matt Wyatt had some stats about the allowed completion percent yesterday. It's historically bad. I don't know the numbers, but probably a lot worse if you take out Arkansas. Auburn had by far their best numbers including against FCS according to what he said.

I said after Arizona that State wouldn't average 10 pts per game against SEC competition and that's going to be about right.
