ND handling Indiana fairly easily so far.

I figure we should keep it separate from the CFP games. Florida started SEC bowl games with a statement, just dominating Tulane 33-8.

"Tampering" is a joke when fans complain about it now, NIL and open transfers ended any real "tampering" gripe. If Lane, Lebby, and most other coaches aren't trying to get good players from other schools... they'll be left behind in today's world. I'd highly wager most CFB players that are good enough to be paid more know through a "friend of a friend of a friend" what type of an offer than can get elsewhere.

I've heard $1.5 million for Dart... I've heard LOTS of different numbers though... that's the highest I've heard. I figure it's closer to $1 million but that's only a guess.

It will be fine until he walks into the wrong house and gets beaten with a vacuum cleaner hose.

Chad Kelley will be QB1 at Ole Miss next year!**

Very few envisioned 4 schools in four years, but it sure opened the door... and here we are. I tend to agree with contracts, but that leads to CFB being the "NFL Farm League" with a player's union. I'm not saying that's a good or bad thing, but that's where we are headed.

Ole Miss and State win again tonight. It looks like a clean sweep for SEC teams playing tonight. Unless something changes, the SEC likely has the most teams in the NCAAT this year. VERY STRONG start for the conference teams.

It's somewhat odd to see how many on here don't like transferring without sitting out a year. It was pretty championed on this site when Tom Mars took on the battle to let players transfer without sitting out.

No doubt. Pettus is a high energy and a talented guy... I wish him nothing but the best. The holding penalties were sure frustrating and always seemed to happen on a big play.
-
That source is very reliable, he's definitely HOLDING on to anything. Chortle
-
LOL, "committed." That word means almost nothing now.
-
Weigman from A&M has entered the portal. MSU should make a push for him, depending on his asking price.
-
That game is always unpredictable. Kudos to both teams for pretty good seasons.
-
Jackson State beat SC State in the Cricket Celebration Bowl today to finish 12-2. Kudo to JSU!
-
Ole Miss dominated the second half. 77-46 final.
-
Arch Manning? I'm pretty sure any "article" about him leaving Texas is just made up BS.
-
What chu talkin bout Willis!?** Only the olds will understand.
-
Pettus planned to fly out at noon today, the plane was held up.
-
There's rumors that the NIL deals were backloaded and included playing in the Bowl game to get fully paid. I have no idea if there's any truth to that, but pretty smart for any schools that put that in the NIL contracts.
-
I didn't get to watch much of MSU this year, they played at the same time as Ole Miss mostly. From what I did watch, I was impressed with Coleman.
-
There have been rumors of Auburn after Van Buren for a few weeks... there's no doubt Auburn is after a QB hot and heavy.
-
Van Buren needs to wear #8 the rest of his career, no matter where he ends up.
-
Rumors of Marshall's entire team may enter the transfer portal. USM could get a ton of those players, that could help turn things around quickly in Hattiesburg.

As a fan wanting to watch great games this postseason, I dislike opt outs. Still, Wammies is correct... it's really just an exhibition game unless it's a playoff game so I definitely understand the opt outs. I can certainly see Tre Harris opting out assuming he's healthy enough to play... he won't be 100% either way and probably can't help/hurt his draft status by playing. Why risk injury in a game when the only knock on him is injuries this season? He can always claim "too injured to play" and there's really no proof either way. I see Dart a late round pick. Dart playing probably doesn't help/hurt his draft status either unless he takes a big injury in the bowl game. Dart's wired different than most players though, I'll be surprised if he doesn't play in the bowl game. Dart lowered his shoulder and took many hits he shouldn't have just to try to get an extra yard or two... he absolutely loves to play the game while rallying his team behind him after showing how "tough" he is. Dart definitely isn't the "smartest" player when it comes to his own safety, but he's sure been fun to watch leaving it all on the field every day.
