  1. When you find your team and click on them it pulls up the schedule and also gives a win probability(%) and predicted score for each game.
  2. Here's the link: https://www.on3.com/high-school/rankings/football/mississippi/
  3. I forgot about the dumb polka dot jerseys and clef tate helmets. Don't get me started on uniforms LOL.
  4. State will probably be an underdog against Florida, but that's a game State should feel good about winning. Whether they do it or not is a whole different story.
  5. I'm just surprised that it's not a regular season game for y'all. That Hattiesburg-Meridian game is an old rivalry game. The only decade y'all didn't face off was in the 1960s, but ya'll have faced off in every decade from the 1920s till now.
  6. @Vottgot any thoughts about the Hattiesburg @ Meridian jamboree game? Should be a good one to see. Hopefully that turf won't be as bad in person.
  7. I think if you can get to the 6 win regular season mark under Lebby by beating all of the non-conference teams and getting 2 wins from Florida and Arkansas, you can't feel bad about the coaching staff or direction of the program. I'm certainly not saying it will happen, but if he pulls off a surprise win somewhere along the way that would definitely put State ahead of schedule and let folks know that Lebby is the real deal. I think you would see the enthusiasm of the Mississippi State fanbase expand 10 fold if he pulls off an unexpected win. There's just a lot of unknowns with this Mississippi State football team and hopefully we will have some of those unknowns answered by the time we get to the Florida game.
  8. It was well deserved. They were bigger, stronger, and faster. Getting a first on the field win against a team playing their first ever varsity football game isn’t something you see everyday. Definitely a neat experience watching it. There were also no goalposts either, so that’s another unique aspect of it.
  9. If they can get the center to be more consistent with snapping the ball to the quarterback, they wouldn’t be behind the sticks so much. They also had a good bit of presnap penalties as well and there was just a whole lot of 2nd & 3rd Bogalusas that were too long to even think about converting. It’s a 17 man roster, so it’ll take some time for them to get better.
  10. They didn’t even get a first down. There was a constant struggle between the center to qb snaps. They were overhiked and underhiked.
  11. DCS 28 HCA 0 2nd Discovery Christian is way bigger.
  12. DCS 14 (conversion no good) HCA 0 1st
  13. I get it and that belief is definitely highly warranted, but let’s see how things shake out. If Hattiesburg self implodes there’s not really any built in stop checks to prevent that from happening, but can they avoid the historical temptation of hitting the self implode button. If they do that, they give themselves a shot. (Along with anyone else.)
  14. MRA should have that livestream shouldn't they? Should be something good to watch at least.
  15. And that's ok. As long as they can have a tenant there (like a baseball team), there shouldn't be any issues. I just think it's going to struggle long term and what will happen when you can't find a pro/minor league team to be the primary tenant? That's when you'll need to have a backup plan in place (aka repurposing that area).
  16. That really does sound great in theory, but do you tear down Trustmark Park and replace it with a football stadium or do you keep it and build a new football stadium in addition to it. Belhaven could probably go back to using Smith-Wills if they ever decide to replace Trustmark Park with a football stadium.
  17. Newt’s in Dixie is hard to beat. Their whole fry is where it’s at.
  18. Robinson-Hale is a high school stadium on MC's campus. It's not sufficient to host state title games.
  19. Just keep racking up the 5A gold balls. It really is the best venue for the high school state championships. Unless a 20K seat stadium gets built somewhere in central MS, Hattiesburg is the best place for the state championships. I truly hope they can put this mystery rotational crap to bed and keep the thing in Hattiesburg for the foreseeable future.
  20. It should be the only hosting site.
