Solid picks. I think the outcome of Georgia and State is correct, but I just don't see State getting completely floored like that. If they do, where do you start cleaning house at? I'd like to think State would want to be less than halfway competitive in this ballgame. If they are more than halfway competitive, then yes they will get floored like you say. I don't think it'll be that close or muddy, but I see your point. Last year it was a straight run of 4-0 (WJ), 3-1 (HAT), 2-2 (Terry), 1-3 (FH), & 0-4 (PRC). I'm thinking you'll probably have that same straight run, just with a different lineup shuffle.

They can improve their seeding if they beat Terry as well, but nonetheless Feaster has it going in the right direction. They haven't even sniffed the playoffs in nearly 10 years.

If PRC beats Forest Hill on Friday, they'll all but lock up the 4 seed in Region 3-6A.

I know of one that should and probably will, but give them some time. By starting varsity football this year, they are already ahead of the curve.

Well Picayune never got off track. It’s a young team with lots of talent that play very hard. They’ve had their growing pains, but that was a very solid win yesterday. When Picayune goes into a contest as a slight underdog like they were yesterday, I always like their chances. You play better when you have something to prove and refine.

I think what hurt Texas was not covering the spread, but that doesn't make them a bad football team. The AP/Coaches rankings won't matter anyway.

You talk about the 2020 game. The 2006 game where Croom took State to Athens and only lost 27-24 was a good one. State was very much in it the whole game.
