With it being this time of year it would make total sense. Bring him in and let them boys have a "King Cake" party.

Got any ideas who you think it will be? Is King still in the mix?

Didn't Clarkdale have a new coach this past season? It was probably a transition year for them, but they still managed to make the playoffs. Even in a down year they are still better than Enterprise and that's awesome. Clarkdale should be better this fall for sure.

Clarkdale is awesome. They shouldn’t have any issues making it 4 straight. If they do, I’ll be shocked.

What's Kiffin's record against ranked opponents? If that's not good, then that may be a part of the problem.

I sent a message to Blake. Hopefully it will get cleaned up.

Vott, you walked right into this one. How did ethics and Tony Vance mix? Ethics are a good thing and very much needed, but they sure are hard to find out here in the real world.

The incoming talent is better, but the quantity isn’t where it needs to be yet. Hopefully they’ll be able to get some more in the boat without sacrificing quality.

It appears State has had some activity in the portal. Picked up Fluff Bothwell on Christmas Eve and got Darron Reed, a DL from Auburn.

Merry Christmas @WABO1. Good to see you chime in.

@s1nglewingWhere are you getting your info from? There is no opening on the Picayune School District website and the point of contact would be the Athletic Director.

Nobody else would know the culture of Hattiesburg football better than someone in house. I could totally see that happening as well.

I saw where State moved up to 11th in the NET after beating Memphis. That was definitely a solid win and one that will look even better as the season progresses.

Green Wave Football is Green Wave Football. Doesn't matter who or where.

It's kinda like the Tom T. Hall song, "Faster Horses (The Cowboy and The Poet)". Maybe he'll figure it out.

Who knows what he's going to do. He's looking for mo' money. I hope he finds it and sends me some LOL.

talk about stooping to new heights LOL

If that's the case it's a fairly solid list of applicants, but there's an obvious frontrunner though. Not that any of the others would be a bad option as well.

Marsha! Marsha! Marsha!!! LOL

Did y'all get King to apply?

I just think all the money chasing is a bad look and the implications of that will extend beyond his college years. If you can’t commit to a college or university, how would anyone expect you to commit to a real job in the real world? It winds up being a bad look that will do more harm in the long run.

I just don’t know why he can’t get settled. He’s a great back and hopefully he gets it figured out.

Again?

He could do that with Picayune too. Don’t send me down that rabbit hole LOL.
