Yes I got burned with it when I tried to watch our State Title game against West Point two years ago. It was awful.

You can also throw Calvin Triplett on the list as well. Won the state title at Fort Pierce Central High in Florida in 1971, then won the 5A state title in Picayune in 1986. The title of this thread doesn't mention different states as a non-qualifier, so this counts.

As long as we complete a majority of them (for positive yardage) and not throw interceptions, I'm perfectly ok with that.

The MHSAA tries to treat equally seeded teams as equally as possible, that’s why they alternate the hosting sites as they do. The overall win-loss record is irrelevant.

I respectfully disagree. Both Brandon and Ocean Springs are both 1 seeds from their respective districts. When two 1 seeds meet up in the playoffs, they rotate the districts who hosts. Last year it was Region 3 and this year it’s Region 4. We had to travel for South State last year to West Jones because even though we were both 1 seeds, it was their region’s turn to host. It’s kind of like how they rotate who will be the home teams for the state title games. This year the North Half is the home team and next year will be the South Half.

I reckon grenades and water closets go hand in hand. Might need a plunger on stand by.

What if we had 3-4 rushing TD’s and 1-2 passing TD’s. That would still be sufficient, correct? Also there’s probably some wiggle room with the 150 total yards.
