Will Hattiesburg @ Meridian take place this week? With Vance and his shenanigans it just doesn’t seem like a good recipe for a football game. Maybe that’s the game that doesn’t need any fans. Thoughts?

Laurel was tied with Vancleave as the smallest 5A school. They’ll probably still be 5A once we go to 7 classifications next year. Also I believe Mendenhall is 4A and Magee is 3A. They’ll be a decent sized school when they form Simpson County Central or whatever they are going to call it.

We've played Gulfport more than any other opponent. They completely dominated the series from 1953-1974. If you remove that 22 season time span from the equation, the series between Gulfport has been way more competitive. I'm thinking we might have our hands full tonight. I hope I'm wrong though.
