I said in another thread they have always had the talent and athletes to be dominant. But they have had crap coaching for a very long time. So bad in fact I don’t think anyone ever understood how bad. Now if you look at them under Carter, and then go look at his past head coaching jobs he hasn’t exactly been a great coach. This job fell in his lap after he hadn’t been a coach for a few years. I don’t know if there is any truth to it but I was told they contacted him for it because no one had applied for the job.

Unless some big money booster club people are mad about the struggling and realized how he bombed his one year in Columbia and it hit that he was going to fail in Brandon as well. So they pushed for early removal to try to correct course before they are too far off track.

If south jones gets all their guys back (lots of injuries plus biggest weapon was suspended) they will beat laurel by a couple scores.

Injuries been bad for WJ this year. I was told we had like 4 guys filling in for starters that are out last night. And at times had 3 of the offensive starters on the field on defense. I believe west had 1 senior starting on defense last night.
