Hattiesburg coaches this past spring

Wr from fcahs. Rb/db from fcahs, d lineman from Perry county, safety from Brandon (by hiring his dad as baseball coach). That’s what I recall off my head right now.

Maybe you cans can finally recruit your way to one of these.

2 kids were said to be possibly transferring vott. 2. And it was said before the season even ended last year. And Trey were not recruited, there were issues at prior school and a parent wanted to get them away from it. And for the record, they did not transfer (one will never play again). There was 1 other kid that can play wr from oak grove who did transfer during christmas break. You guys got like 5 this offseason alone. 2 from one school. And brag about recruiting them.

Dobt know when it was done. Assuming the kid just got clearance cause they started bragging about it in the group the kids use to talk to each other. It can be inferred from the post they are openly bragging about it as well. They are rubbing it in everyone’s faces.

Oh you can bet it.

I guess Hattiesburg believed in their talent level so much they decided to go the Tupelo route of recruiting. And bragging about it.

Hattiesburg now has recruited a sophmore rb from fcahs. Easnt there a rule about them having to be enrolled and practicing by a certain date?

5A south would invite you to take a look. Particularly Laurel.

You won’t be. May not even have the best wr corp in 6A south.

Not looking at the Petsl and Oak grove games yall and them tend to beat the snot out of each other regardless how good or bad one may be any given year. But if yall do not beat Laurel, Biloxi and Meridian by 3 touchdowns each then you some concern about the state of the offense would be warranted.

No team in this state can loose a wr the caliber of Keyes and not feel it at least a bit. And then you lost young who would have been a great number 1 wr for every team that did not have Keyes on it. I refuse to believe your wr corps is as good as the past 2 years. You, yourself said you lost the entire o line. In that spring game Heidelberg made the o line look small (by normal Hattiesburg standards) slow, and a bit silly. Not one team in the current 5A or 6A south has been able to win the South 3 consecutive years out of the last couple decades. There have been a handful winning 2 out of 3 years or 3 out of 4, but none did it consecutively (and the ones that hit close all won at least 1 state title). It won’t start with Hattiesburg this year.

Thevwinner of west jones and Hattiesburg will win that region. This is the case every year and will likely remain so for a while. Doesn’t matter if both them are 4 win or 8 win teams at the time of that game.

Sorry, but breaking in an entire new o line will take more than 1 quarter. Probably more than a couple games. Hattiesburg, as much as yall don’t want to accept, are not to the point of reloading immediately after loosing a large group of talented 3 year starters like you just had graduate. And the coaches know it or they would not have been openly recruiting so much this offseason trying to quickly piece together a team they think might be capable of winning.

Perhaps they will beat them from start to finish?

Bricks. WJ first game on turf week 3 vs South jones

Burn It All

Trust me. If WJ beats Laurel by double digits again it will absolutely matter to them. They 110% expect this years game to be closer on the scoreboard than the last few if not expect to win. They are talking all kinds of noise. Even their new o line coach, former WJ coach Corey reynolds. If this game is essentially over by halftime it will completely mess them up mentally somewhat for most, if not all, the season.

And I for one am all for them sucking. Especially Laurel. The longer they keep this head coach the better. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Their fans think they going to state every single year. I got them winning 5 tops this year. And that’s me being generous. WJ bout to drop 40 on them.

I see so many that now get to make the playoffs that before 23 we’re bottom 2 of their districts.
