Slick, come on back for the final few weeks of the season. WC is now hosting a game in the first round of the playoffs and have a legit shot at beating South Jones or Laurel. Win that and I feel like they could beat Brookhaven Co in round 2. It is not a far fetched dream to see WC in south state championship

Well if you go back and watch a replay of our game vs George Co you will see that our defense got torched in the first half with GC running the ball. Their RB had 21 carries for 159yds. Fortunately we made the adjustments at the half and held him to 30yds in the second half and held them scoreless.

I know making multi millions of dollars is life changing money but I would not want to coach at a big time major program with the way coaches are being let go. Only a few years ago I thought David Cutcliffe had the best football job in the nation because he could go 8-4 at Duke every year and had job security for as long as he wanted to be there. Anything better than that was just him being able to play with house money. I know Huff will probably not be at Southern Miss in Ill say 2027 if he repeats what he has done this season, but if he is living comfortably and is happy in Hattiesburg he could go 8-4 at So Miss go to a bowl every year and So Miss would build him a statue

Gautier has just played themselves out of a playoff spot losing back to back weeks vs PRC and Hancock. They will not get a win vs Goula or Picayune

I would think a coach who does not want to be AD should have to have the advanced certification. Coaching a sport is hard enough as it is, I would want to coach at a school that already has an AD

If the now interim HC decides to pursue the position full time then good for him. If he does not or if Brandon decides to go another direction, would you look for a HC with lots of experience or would you look for an assistant at a very successful program and want to give him his first shot as a HC
