Ive been on the sidelines at Hattiesburg games before and have heard an official ask another official about a rule interpretation on a play because he wasn't sure.

Were all 41 accepted penalties? If not there was more than 45. I know of about 5 that were declined

Here's the thing about officials. Would you rather have an older veteran official who more than likely knows the entire rulebook backwards and forwards or a younger less experienced one who probably doesnt know everything. Especially with playoffs coming up

I would sit out next week. As of now looks like WJ will host Pearl River Central in Round 1

The unsportsmanlike i can agree on. But all those holding calls on both sides you gotta keep that flag in the pocket on some plays and let both teams get in a flow

HHS offensive numbers are not eye popping. They did get a little inflated against Jim Hill and Forest Hill. If I had to guess I would say they avg maybe 300yds per game. Also Meridian probably held HHS to less than 100yds after you factor in the QB sacks and tackles for loss.

Hattiesburg/WJ might be a shootout, but not that high. More like a 31-28 score

I just think they should have the same number of teams in each region instead of having 6 in one region and 4 in another.

Teams in this area are driving 2.5 hours for a region game in Natchez. One long trip isnt that bad. Petal and oak Grove are driving twice every year 1:45 min to jackson area to play pearl brandon and nw rankin and also to Meridian

Move collins in the region with only 4 teams. Puckett and Pelahatchie aren't bad trips up 49
