So who is the better team right now in Region 4? Goula or Gautier. Neither team has started out like I thought they would. With most everyone back for Goula except the QB I had them going at least 7-3 in regular season. Same with Gautier even though they moved up to 6a

So is Pearl River Central gonna get that 4th playoff spot this season?

Not that it matters, but how can you say that HHS was over rated after they beat very good teams last season? Beat a 7a playoff team Petal 7a playoff team Oak Grove (who somehow and I dont know how beat Grenada) 6a power West Jones and 6a power Picayune. Not saying that because I am from Hattiesburg either. Any team with those kind of victories over those opponents is not an over rated team.

From what I saw Friday, Biloxi either played their rear ends off vs Picayune or Picayune was overlooking Biloxi and ahead to Ocean Springs. Now Biloxi gets to get drilled this week by that Greyhound Express

Two teams from the old Big 8 Conference days. This series has been dominated by the Wildcats. Tigers need this to have a good feeling going into the bye week before region play starts

Maybe not. The point I was trying to make is that no one seems to make a thread about their upcoming game anymore. Their are only a few certain fans of teams who come week in and week out and talk about the game they have that week. I dont know if some think that this page has gotten stale over the years or if they have lost interest in their teams since they have gotten older. Then maybe some have just moved away

If OG wins this no one will remember those first 2 games.

What has happened to everyone who used to post about their favorite teams? No matter how good or bad they were. Petal vs Gulfport Wayne Co vs George Co. Oak Grove playing one of the top teams from Louisiana. Brandon playing a top team from Alabama. Tupelo vs Oxford. Not one post about those games this week.

Wish Hattiesburg open date was this week. I would have been there for sure. This is the overall top game in the state this week

So you just thinking that Hattiesburg is that bad this season? I mean Gport had to rally to beat a really bad Laurel team. My thinking is Biloxi may get by Gulfport this season

So when region play begins, does Biloxi have a chance to finish no.1 or no.2 and get them a home playoff game and avoid that first round yearly trip to Oak Grove?

Anxious to see how the Tigers respond after a poor showing vs Oak Grove. Biloxi gave Picayune a battle last week. Was told a couple weeks ago that HHS was hoping to have Keys back by week 4. Hopefully that is the case this week. The passing game is struggling.

Same with Purvis. Lamar county keeps growing every year. As a joke people always call oak grove west hattiesburg. But that really is or could be its own city.

I agree on seminary. But sumrall actually got some athletes this yr. The new coach they got done found him some players. Even some of the baseball players are playing football.

That is true. The pressbox is divided in 3 sections. The broadcast teams of both HHS and the visitor’s have to share a side of the pressbox with each other. On the other side of the pressbox you have the p.a announcer the clock operators and the music person all on the other side. The section with the most room is the middle which is the VIP that the Hburg school staff Hburg city leaders and others dignitaries sit.

Have you seen the inside of HHS pressbox? In fact ask the og broadcast crew for yourself did they not request it. They put it on Facebook

Og requested to broadcast on the visitor side. Not enough room for their equipment and broadcast crew.

I look for OG to come out and play as if they were 2-0. If you cant get fired up about playing your crosstown opponent, then something is for sure wrong. If I dont see a packed visitors side that tells me the fans have already given up on them. Despite 0-2 the main goal is still in front of them.
