How many 1A/2A schools do we need to lose due to consolidation in order to return to 6 classes? Its going look weird having 40 schools in 1A and 27 football schools as an example divided into 8 regions with 2 or 3 school regions especially in NE Mississippi.

There probably wasn't a financial incentive to do so. It definitely makes sense, but it may not be making enough cents.

Too much baggage in the bill that should be separated. No public school funds to private schools or home schools that have not been vetted.

SOH name calling certainly doesn’t help its chances

I've voted conservative Republican for 40 years and was not in favor of this bill. What the SOH and the Gov don't understand is that those Republicans in the Senate were listening to the people they represent. In every Facebook, X, chat room dialog I've seen, as well as just talking to people in general, the over whelming majority of people were not in favor of HB2. Some not so much against school choice but because they had it in a 503 page bill with things that should have been in stand alone bills, not to mention the things that were hidden within the bill.

He stated he was "invisible" at practices which to most would insinuate that he did not do anything. My son reported the same as he just finished his playing career with OS so this obviously is a theme. So if he is a coach who is not actively involved in practice, game planning, etc., how valuable of a coach would you say a person is? Bramlett demoted him from OC title to keep King on board. That obviously signals something is there in regards to Lampley's importance to the OS operation, or lack thereof. Which for a new HFC like Zach Green who is trying to build a staff up, could potentially be an issue especially as he is more of a defensive minded coach. His offensive coaching staff hires will have to hit and from all regards, Lampley may be a "miss" at the moment.

Coaches are not interested in interviewing for a dog and pony show when they all feel like it’s already Corey Reynolds job.

Baughman was an absolute joke when he was there. Coach Hankins looked like Nick Saban compared to him. Numbers wise he was very comparable to Henry. I will say this about Coach Hankins he’s a really good guy. He got a bad hand taking over for Kevin Gandy. Gandy was named interim during the COVID year and I thought did a pretty good job under the circumstances. The had to forfeit a few games that were region games so that killed him but wasn’t his fault. You had a lot of people who wanted him to get another year at least. So when they hired Coach Hankins a lot of people were upset and never let their kids play and I’m talking some good players. You still have that happening to kids walking the hallways not playing for him. Most of the kids that played for Hankins really liked him.

Also still cannot get over the fact that BOC is younger than Lemonis. He’s a 54 year old that can pass for 70 lol.
