So Seth Smith, Lance Mancuso, Jeff Stockstill, or Jay Beech wouldn't be good choices because they went to PRC?  Not that any of them would be interested, but where a coach is from is hardly the "core of the problem" with the PRC football program.

Those are all great coaches that you mention and I wouldn't want to see any one of those coaches do something to ruin their careers.  The key to success at PRC is for a coach to come in and run the program the way that he wants to without others trying to influence what he wants to do.  Parents need to be parents and let coaches be coaches.  There needs to be a separation there, if not things won't work out like they need to.  Could things work out if they hire a coach with ties to PRC?  Sure they definitely could, but they need to lay the law down and draw the line where it needs to be drawn.  I just think that if they can hire an outsider with no current established relationships with anyone in the community, then they have a greater sporting chance at turning things around.  I certainly don't mind being wrong and if they do decide to hire someone with ties to PRC, I certainly hope he can turn things around there because those kids up there deserve to win.

Not surprising. A change was needed. If I was PRC, I would be giving Seth Hayden a call at Picayune. I think he would be a great hire for them. PRC alum, coached there, moved on and has had success at Picayune.

do you think whoever picayune hired would not have success? lol
