I cannot see MRA beating Oakland 48-26. Oakland is a well known national level football program out of TN, and they are well-seasoned. This will be a tough game to win, let alone win by 22.

Not to mention that Oakland beat MRA 31-13 last year. Unless MRA has added some ringers that no one knows about, the outcome should be about the same. Oakland just reloads. They were the Tennessee 6A undefeated champions last season and are 95-6 going back to 2015, & they were doing the same before that, I just noticed a trend...

I think the MC vs West Jones game will be closer. The MC line is very inexperienced. The line didn't look good in the Jamboree vs Warren Central on either side of the ball.

Warren Central has some studs on the line. They were a great test for us

Could WC knock off Oak Grove or Brandon?

I think Warren Central could be a playoff team this year. Brandon will be very good offensively but I’ll be interested to see how they handle a team that can throw as well as they can. Jury is still out on OG I’ll know more about them after Friday. I know they have the pieces just need to see em in action.

I'm taking Clinton over Ocean Springs by two touchdowns.

Finally, somebody talking about Clinton. I’ve been trying to get some idea of what to expect. Last year’s triple overtime game was also opening night, and was a classic. O.S. won that one, and continued to improve through the season. Maybe improved this year too on defense, but needs to play to find out. How does Clinton compare to last year if you think they are two touchdowns better than O.S.?
