Pistolpete Posted August 25, 2022 Share Posted August 25, 2022 WB does look better than the past… They are definetly more organized but I honestly didn’t see a player who even remotely resembles a Kailo Moore nor William Lloyd…. Then again how can u even put William Lloyd in the same class as a kailo Moore… The kids and the community are excited about the upcoming season but this comparison is crazy. William Lloyd is playing international professional football as we speak, played a major role in winning numerous Sun Belt conference/nat’l juco titles on the collegiate level for two diffferent programs. Kailo Moore was a blue chip track/ football prospect and had numerous D1 offers. The only difference today is since Henry Johnson and Nakita Johnson stopped coaching at West Bolivar the current athletes have never had a single coach resemble anything close to that level of coaching/leadership ability. West Bolivar has had other players that could’ve played D1 or join a high level JUCO program that didn’t even receive an offer coming out of HS. The football program hasn’t attended a team camp in 5 or more years. Has had different head coaches nearly every year. What you people constantly come on here and say means absolutely nothing. The kid I’m talking about spoke to his first college coach this week. It was set up by a legendary former player/coach right here in the Delta. Keep talking and judging kids based on your personal feelings while we keep sending footage and attending camps to gain these kids exposure. But to think that WB has an athlete even close to those guys is ridiculous… I’m guessing the guy you are referring to attends your ironeagle athletics camp which means u are trying to boost ur own ego…. I knew it was coming… 1 game in and the coach is terrible and he wants to highlight the one player who he so call trains as usual.. The score was 8-0 with 30 seconds left before the half and wb snapped the ball over the punter head and scored to make it 16-0 at the half… Wb still played tough and hung in there in the 2nd half… 40-0 doesn’t really tell the story of this game… watch the game and not try to pin point what one player is doing… y did the super sophomore line up for kickoff return on the wrong end of the field 3 separate times….. come on now we get what wat u r trying to do but it’s wrong…U said that several kids are in ur ironeagle athletics program but yet you only try to talk about 1…. These false narratives and fake news have to stop.. and it stops now… u had ur chance to coach and you turned it down 3 times remember… but yet now u want to be a sideline coach…. Pistolpete Posted August 28, 2022 Share Posted August 28, 2022 (edited) West bolivar is fairly young… looking at the roster they only have 3 seniors and from what I’m hearing this was the returning qb first week back from army basic training… And according to IE the parents need to be calling in on the superintendent for canceling all after school activities on last Wednesday because kids were tired…IE a guy who pushes his own narrative… this is the same guy who quit coaching when his team went 0-4 to start the season… practices were cancelled district and area wide so the superintendent made a decision not only for west bolivar but mcevans also which was to protect the kids and not worry about a football… how can a guy whose never had a 1 yard gain nor tackle in a football game be such a football guru… lol… west bolivar will bounce back Edited August 28, 2022 by Pistolpete Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
