IRONEagle Posted June 15, 2022 Author Share Posted June 15, 2022 What’s the latest? I was told today some players like the momentum but says there’s still people working against football. The biggest news of the summer in any WB sport is 2025 & 2026 prospects that are apart of IRONEagle Athletics attending multiple football camps! They are turning heads.. multiple former players & coaches across the Delta reached out to me this week after seeing highlights of an explosive 2025 prospect at WB. This kid just received an invite to join his 2nd 7v7 travel team. I guess that means it’s still talent at WB. We have possibly two more major camps on the schedule for this summer. The real question is this though. How can the athletic program ever move forward with this kind of divisiveness if kids are being encouraged not to even pursue football? For years I told people that Bay Springs had talent year in and year out. They just needed a coach staff. Its werid about the whole situation at Bay Springs... IRONEagle Posted June 17, 2022 Author Share Posted June 17, 2022 I received a call days ago to return to coach. People see that IRONEagle athletics is taking off and the product speaks for itself. Had a long good conversation with a former state championship defensive coach on yesterday who is mentoring me. I might delay entering coaching all together or for atleast a year. I don’t see how it benefits the kids, program, or coach to start a job in the middle of the summer. You can’t develop, coach, teach discipline, prepare for the season, and build a team when you start at a competitive disadvantage. The players in IRONEagle Athletics have trained since November. It shows. They have colleges planning visits to watch their regular season games. Offered invites to join some of the top 7v7 travel teams in MS. This is just the beginning. Get your popcorn ready! The only program in the Delta that is ranked top 5 - 10 in Mississippi for state championships, wins, playoff appearances, and district championships. West Bolivar football is back.. Hopefully they get the Jr. High on track. This season is about the players. These players overcame the odds against them after being neglected and set up for failure for years. To be direct, I received a late phone call yesterday and was told the players are working hard. I hear they are even starting to buy-in to the outstanding tradition of Rosedale football dominance. That not only individual players are looking better but the pieces of a formidable team from offense, defense, special teams, coaching etc are starting to form which is what made Rosedale a powerhouse for over 30 years. So as the question stands, will the fanbase return to support the team at home and on the road? Get your popcorn ready.. IRONEagle Athletics will be there! I said that for the simple fact word is two unproven coaches at West Bolivar in different sports had a conversation discussing IRONEagle. We’re still going strong.. our 2025 prospect may attend a camp this month at a major college. All season we’re bringing the games to the fans on social media. HS sportswriters, coaches, etc have asked me to give them weekly updates on West Bolivar football. I was also offered earlier this spring to cover HS football and basketball for a recruiting service. The word for this year is ACCOUNTABILITY. Instead of focusing on what I’m doing, it’s time to shed light on reality. Get your popcorn ready . You would think that after having multiple student athletes report to me that COACHES repeatedly are making IRONEAGLE the topic of their discussions in front of kids would eventually give these adults the idea that maybe I’m doing something right since we’re adding more and more top athletes. Athletes with invites to join these 7v7 travel teams, athletes who are performing at camps! We are just getting started. Get your popcorn ready!!
