You don’t have many threads on MST pulling in the views and comments as this one! IRONEagle aka THE VOICE is one of the top poster on this forum. I was talking about football. I’ve seen the greatness of West Bolivar football when the program was restored in the early 2000s. Nothing will ever compare to that era in the Delta or many other places. I can post highlights and clips, and if you were being unbiased for once you would see that it’s truth to what I’ve been saying all this time. I’ll always support a hard working dedicated kid who is making a name for themselves, earning exposure & recognition the right way and is being wrongfully labeled and discredited by adults both on this thread and in this community. They will not tell you this kid passed both of his state test last year as a freshman earning proficiency in Biology. So not only is he a great talent in football, this is a kid who has a bright future as does many others if people around here stop focusing on putting adults in the spotlight and gave attention to our students. They point out the most senseless garbage they can think of about a child and others for self-gratification. I don’t even have to post on this forum ever again and my voice will still be heard. Truth is, every week these same individuals could approach me in person and say everything that they run to this forum to post but they never have and never will. Trust me, everyday I get calls and texts about what’s going on at West Bolivar. I’m posting the reality at hand and light is coming to this darkness once and for all. People can’t play with young people future and it not catch up to them. The post about the Heidelberg situation is okay but my thread/posts are in support of one of the greatness HS football programs in MS & the potential of a student athlete being mismanaged and it’s labeled as bickering? West Bolivar is a football town and the true story will be told. It’s really that simple. Makes the roster of two 7v7 travel teams as a freshman. Runs a 4.5 forty at Ole Miss Camp. Passed both state test as a freshman scoring proficiency in Biology. Allows zero catches & 2 pass deflections as a sophomore week 1. Preseason scrimmage gets a highlight reel interception. No touches on offense despite the team going scoreless in the season opener. Tell me how any credible person would be on here discrediting the player and defending the adults? We are covering the 5x State Champions week by week. Note: Fans are excited about the Jr. High team. Big-time talent coming up from the 8th grade class. This week, multiple players met with IRONEagle athletics and we’re looking to expand the program this off-season. McAdams has only 17 players and the rest of the also-rans in 2-1A are in similar shape. Simmons or McEvans as 1/2 seeds, S. The best I’ve seen since the “Dean of the Delta” Coach Henry Johnson era in Rosedale. I’ve seen teams like Hollandale get destroyed by WB when we were beating them with ease years ago from 2007 - 2014 prior to Tavares Johnson taking over that program. During that era teams like McEvans and South Delta didn’t stand a chance against the 5x State Champions. Hollandale went from winning 5 or 6 games to a run for a four peat when they made a smart investment in their football program. WB doesn’t have many seniors only 4. West Bolivar has 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th graders that would thrive under elite level coaching. I don’t care who gets offended by that fact or tries to discredit it but it’s the truth. People who don’t use the internet will say the exact same thing. OAN: IRONEagle athletics trains year around.. by midseason I expect a lot to look different than it looks right now. I’ll give until the halfway mark of the season to post the IE season report update. We have the highlights from summer camps, 7 v 7, and games to put out the first official highlight film of an IE prospect. Sorry for the wait! Get your popcorn ready . IRONEagle Posted September 17, 2022 Author Share Posted September 17, 2022 (edited) IRONEagle Athletics is absolutely fired up this morning as we gear up for two elite training sessions. 2025 prospect went man to man all game against a D1 wide receiver in Northside’s Jordan McKnight. In his first game after earning the honor to serve as one of the team captains as a sophomore. Fans with football knowledge and not those from last night who stood there gloating would realize you can’t expect any one player to shut down a player with more experience and on a better coached team. I told this kid before the game what you and only you can control is your competitiveness and drive. I saw a young dynamic athlete step up to the challenge every snap. We’re definitely upping our training regimen after this one because the potential I see in this kind is extremely high. Our 2026 RB continues to show that he’ll be a dynamic player for years to come with his speed and physical running style. I’m really looking forward to training this athlete during the off-season. Some of these kids may or may not transfer out of West Bolivar in January but if they decide to stay then next season they should be a force. Get your popcorn ready.
