Also hes had his scoreboard show on the air for 30yrs. He is very knowledgeable of the sport and High school football in general. I know my opinion is only that my opinion. I actually like listening to the call in show on Friday nights and he does a good job with that. When it comes to commentary of a game not as much If you remember he and Cheyenne Trussell used to be the TV guys for the PBS broadcast. That's one of the reasons games aren't on PBS anymore. The QB is a battler and the Petal WR did a great job. The KOR helped turn things for the South and he had to make up for his jumping over the xpt line penalty that allowed the 2pt conversion on the first score. I think it's likely due to location in relation to the housing they use for players at the Air National Guard base off Hewes Avenue as well as scheduling at other facilities with school sports. Gulfport plays its soccer games over by their school so maybe that's part of the logic. Only guessing on my part. Also the major sponsors of the game maybe? Well we are in Jackson so there are endless possibilities. Also, various locations to choose from while practicing, eating, and conferences they might hold.
