Scott Central @ Mize

This game used to be a major playoff rivalry game back in the day. Both teams are 3-3 against each other, and haven’t played each other since 2010. Scott Central won the first 3 meetings in 1997, 1999, and 2003. Mize won the next 3 meetings in 2004, 2005, and 2010. This will be the biggest game of the season for both teams and I expect that it will be a really good one.

Probably good thing mize didn’t play Scott central last 10 years. Cause they gon beat the hell out of Mize. They got 1 player #6, and he really is not that good. We let him catch one play on us but he didn’t do nothing rest of the night. We ate their offense line up. If Scott central got a good line, they will beat mize. But them and Raleigh will be a better game next week.

I’m not gonna talk about the Raleigh game. If that happens next week, we will talk about that next week. This week is about Scott central. I like our chances this week, but obviously Scott central is capable of winning this game too. I definitely think neither team will be able to make many mistakes.

Lol. Rebelbert must be one of them too. That man said St. Andrews was going to give us trouble. Mize and Tville allowed y’all to join the championship club with us and this is how y’all act towards us.

Of the 6 games played between these two teams, 4 of them were played at SC (97, 99, 03, 2010) and two were played at Mize (04, 05). The home team has won every time except for in 2010.

I really hope Mize beats Scott Central. I would rather play at home than be cheated at Scott Central. So don't put me with that bunch outside Smith County.

Boy, these teams look very similar record-wise. One common opponent, Newton, with close to the same results.

This should be a really good game. May have to go with Mize, being the home team.

Scott Central is athletic team their rbs are fast as fuk. I think their defense is ok they can be solid at time but, I give Mize advantage because ain't this game being played Mize?

Scott Central is the better team and has played the tougher schedule; Mize played in a relatively weak Region and had a relatively soft schedule.

Our schedule would have been tougher but we didn’t expect enterprise to be so bad this year. And some how our weak region won 3 out of 4 first round games, with the only exception being north Forrest losing to Raleigh. And north Forrest beat Leake Central the week before, the same leake central team that beat Scott Central.

I can't say they are the better team. Let's let them prove it before making that kind of statement. 

Mize.                        Scott Central 

Raleigh.                   Bay Springs

Taylorsville.            Seminary

Wesson.                  Tylertown 

After those 3 the schedule is about even between the 2. So no Scott Central did not play a tougher schedule. I cam put Morton on the comparison but both have no defense and can score. I guess I would have go to Clarkdale and Collins and again about the same. Tit for tat on both schedules. Because the way Bay Springs is playing you might can lean towards Scott Central slightly. Bay Springs can hang 50 on Enterprise.

SC seems to be a lot like us. Good enough to beat some really good teams but not good enough to have an off night. I’m still trying to figure out how they lost to leake central.

That doesn’t mean the offensive scheme was the problem. They scored 36 points and still lost. The problem was the defense. But the next week they lost 10-7 to a good Forest team. Then they beat a good seminary team, but struggle with Lake. Matter of fact, they didn’t score a single offensive touchdown against Lake and still won 16-6. They just seem like a Jeckyl and Hyde team. We were kinda the same way early on. We didn’t really start finding our way until district play started.

I said Mize was 3-3 against SC but apparently I forgot the 2011 season in the first round of the playoffs. So mize is 4-3 against SC, winning the last 4 contests.

Lake isn't a bad team just not consist team. About how Scott Central but, that was a rivalry game and remember Lake lost a lot close games this years they could have easily came 2 or 3.

Congrats to SC. Defensive battle like all our games against them seem to be. Their defensive line was the difference in the game. They won the line of scrimmage.
