Oh wow didn’t realize that. But yeah I’ve noticed all the podcasts, both the previews and the recaps, none of them knew 0 was out. Which I get it. That kind of stuff is hard to know for every game. But man if he plays yall beat PCS with ease

I noticed that. They missed that one. They do know a good bit about all classifications though. More so than the majority of the podcasts out there. I listened to them all last year and so far this year, and they do a good job 1a-7a. They covered that mize/wesson game a good bit on the show last year too. I guess they just forgot

69-13 since 2020. That's already more wins than any other decade in Raleigh history and that's only 6 years into the 2020s.

I've really enjoyed their podcast last year and so far this year. To me, I think they are pretty balanced in knowing all areas of the state. They also do a great job on the radio call every year for the championship games.

Not the case for 1a-4a. Region play will have already started October 2nd for those classifications. This game was supposed to be October 9th. Which I know that limits available teams. Because most people have district games October 9th. With 7 classifications and only 5 teams per district, unfortunately there are a lot of byes now because it’s so hard to find anybody without a district game the same week as you and willing to play.

I don’t think Forest has that problem either. They just don’t want to play. Never thought a day would come when teams are hesitant to play Raleigh but Forest sure dropped that game and they can’t find a replacement. Raleigh has reached out to several teams that also have a bye that week and all have declined. The crazy thing is that it was a good game last year. Forest is capable of winning that game this year but we will never know. It would’ve been a good money game for Forest too because Raleigh would’ve brought a great crowd. Oh well.

Very similar situation with Forest/Raleigh. Would’ve been home game for Forest. The Forest coaches are using the excuse of it being fall break week and trying to say it’s gonna be hard to get players to show up for practice.

Talking about the dude that does the Tik toks? I think he’s from Magee. I know he does a lot of content for different teams but I know he does a lot of videos for Taylorsville.

That was night 1 of a two-day, three game extravaganza at Wayne County. You had Wayne County vs Quitman that Thursday night. Then the next night, since it absolutely would not stop raining that August of 2022, Wayne County was nice enough to allow Taylorsville and Raleigh to use the facility for their openers. Magee beat Taylorsville in Game 1 and then Raleigh beat Bay Springs in game 2. Very unique start to that season. That Raleigh/Bay Springs game was also the game that Coach Brady got a concussion and had to leave early in the first half. Current Bay Springs Coach Young took over and coached the rest of that game. Crazy to think that stadium saw a head coach get into a fight in the stands and another coach leave in an ambulance due to a concussion within a just over 24 hour span.
