Hello, November.

Texas A&M-Ole Miss: Vegas has this line closer than I expected, OM is only a 3 point home favorite. I think A&M is actually a pretty solid team, I just don’t trust them against the Mississippi schools. When is the last time A&M beat a MS school having a competent season? State in 2015? Ole Miss very much plays to the level of their competition in a lot of instances so I’ll be shocked if it’s not a close game. But I am taking OM at home, 34-24.

Kentucky-State: this is the part where I disappoint maroontide by mentioning that even though State is wearing the beloved interlocking MSU to commemorate the 25th anniversary of winning the West, it’s also the 20th anniversary of the last State team that wore these jerseys and did so with a 2-10 record. This State team feels a lot more like ‘03 than ‘98, sadly. The next time State looks good against an FBS opponent will be the first time this season. I think Kentucky finally breaks their long losing streak in Starkville and the coaching search rumors kick into high gear for State next week. Kentucky 24 State 17.

Mizzou-Georgia: Can Mizzou win the East again like they did a decade ago???….. Probably not. I have UGA by three touchdowns.

LSU-Bama: I know every Ole Miss fan is rooting for an LSU win here. I just don’t believes it happens. Bama is different this year but I think this is still their division to lose. I think the Tide takes it at home.

Lots of pretty juicy games everywhere this weekend. Bedlam (Oklahoma-Oklahoma State), Kansas Stat-Texas, Washington-USC, just to name a few with Playoff ramifications.

Don't worry I don't feel disappointed.  I know we played like crap those last 3 years wearing that uniform, but man did you see what the field is going to look like this weekend?  I just want to make the uniforms and field design permanent.  I'll live with the results because I've lived with them before.

I never thought I’d see those uni’s again due to pure stubbornness and frankly some flat out lies that were spread over the years. I’m thrilled to see them again, even if they’re being wasted on a bad State team.

I want them to be permanent too. State probably needs to win on Saturday and play well doing so to really drive that point home. After watching for 8 games, their current uniforms are absolutely terrible. Just bland and boring as all get out. Script State on a football helmet doesn’t look like I hoped it would. The late 90’s look is the way to go.

If we can’t be happy about our football team, then at least let us be happy about our uniforms.  The script State/reincarnated Croom uniforms have been just horrible.  The script state helmet looked good last year as a one off, but it’s absolutely nauseating to look at with it being the permanent attire.

A&M is loaded with talent, they sure haven't played up to the talent level. The line is likely 3 for a good reason- I'll pick Ole Miss simply because it's a home game.

I'll go with Kentucky.

I'll go with Georgia, I'm hoping Mizzou makes it a great game though.

LSU/Bama has a lot of potential to be a very good game. Bama rarely loses 2 regular season games in a season, Bama is the smart pick.

OM 28 A&M 24 - OMs offense is puzzling to me.  They score a couple TDs quick then have lengthy dry spells.  They need to be more consistent against a decent A&M defense.   They’re definitely better than Arkansas, Auburn or Vandy.

UK 34 State 14 - Leary had his best passing day at Kentucky against Tennessee. I think he’ll torch State’s defense.

Bama over LSU.  Since the OM loss it seems like LSU has fallen off the face of the earth.   I expect a great game in Tuscaloosa.

Missouri 35 Georgia 31.  I actually expect a Georgia/UK type game, but what the heck. I’ll pick the upset.

I have an uneasy feeling about A&M and Ole Miss. Ole Miss should win but I have had nagging feeling about this game all week. I am going to go with Ole Miss 24-23 in a nail biter but it could go the other way very easily.

We now what State is and that is not going to change now at least from what I have seen.
Kentucky breaks the losing streak and wins for the first time at State since 2008, 20-14.

Bama 38, LSU 35. But LSU scores late to make it look closer than it will really be.

Georgia 40, Misery 12. Mizzou is going get drilled.

Florida wins an ugly game over Arkansas

31-26. Turnovers lead to more points being scored.

Auburn plays flat against Vandy and loses a game they should win…20-17.

OK, Washington and KState all win.

Southern Miss finally plays a team worse than themselves. Eagles win big over NE Louisiana err Louisiana-Monroe…48-30.

UCLA @ AZ. AZ is quietly putting together a good season. Look for the Wildcats to slash the Bruins 34-17.

Trying to talk myself into a path for State to win and the only way that seems realistic is a total meltdown by Kentucky. Which they are known to have in Starkville. But everything about this other than it being in Starkville spells advantage Kentucky. They are better on both sides of the ball and have the better head coach. Stoops has as much job security as any coach in the country but a loss with here with one of the better rosters he’s assembled would really have me questioning him.

I also wonder why this State coaching staff is lagging behind in recruiting.  Do they see the writing on the wall?

You'd be better off talking yourself into getting the Shrimp Ducky at Copeland's

But leave it to Ole Miss to open the door by allowing a blocked FG to keep completely turn the game around. And then Kiffin leaves a point on the board that hopefully will not bite him in butt.
First drive of the third quarter extremely important. If Ole Miss holds then I think they go on to win comfortably. But if A&M scores, then it will be a dog fight to the end.
