Bubba Hathorne is a reject.

Earnest gets a half a pass because he learned how to coach in Wayne County although we could do better if we got rid of Hathorne.

This will be the biggest game Hankins has ever coached at Wayne County.

our young kids they brought up from the freshman team have really stepped up.

 

Wayne County will beat Brookhaven next week and advance to south state. What happens from there is blowing in the wind.

Gautier is looking good. Lots of skill guys for an opponent to account for.

Say what you want about the Coach but since he brought these young players up they look like a different team. He has a lot of freshman and sophomores playing. He also moved a few guys around when they got healthy. Good Job coach Hankins of keeping your team together and making adjustments.

Correct. At one point during this season they were deflated but they  have got back up.  Hard to do and good to see.

I can’t crap on the man for showing some signs life in our program. Although I think anyone would say it’s pretty darn late in the game. One playoff win. One.  And he got beat by Stoned County just a few weeks ago.
If he wants me to get back on the back on the bandwagon win this game coming up Friday  and show us these games down the stretch weren’t just drawing teams that don’t play defense.  It’s time to show he belongs..

Stone isn't a bad team. I don't expect them to beat Brookhaven but they've played some good teams close (Poplarville, Quitman)

We will see how well these youngsters stack up Friday night. We know and he knows he will have his hands full Friday. The good thing about playing the youngsters is sometimes they don’t care they are just wanting to show they belong. Like I said he kept the team together until they got healthy and until the freshman got there.

I have probably been to around ten games since Hankins took over. Wayne County has lost every one so I’m apprehensive about going to this one Friday night Not to mention how bad the midge flies and mosquitoes will be in that stadium. They are biblical plague levels on the coast this fall . I’ve never seen them anywhere close to the level they are now.   Seriously considering selling everything I have down here and moving north because of it.

I don’t know that it’s coming. I seen hawks yarding up five or six deep in an ascending spiral like in the spring yesterday.  Strange year it’s like dog days started at the first of July with the cypress starting to change.

I guess the euphoria was good for a couple of day until i watched that game from the other night. Nothings changed. Our coach still thinks he doesn’t have to score often to beat the better competition.  South Jones quit before halftime and looked closer to Sylva Bay than a 5A team. 
This Friday will be another showdown turned letdown for this reject. He will hem and haw about how great the qb was for Gautier.  This glorified slot receiver is nothing new for Gautier. It’s what they have always had for as long as I remember.

Wayne County would have taken him apart at the joints 7 or 8 years ago . The only thing left from that time is just the dam uniform led by people trying to pile on accomplishments of others.

Thats the way it is and I honestly feel ashamed for thinking there was some big change.

Anyone who has read through this thread knows how I feel about the state of things surrounding our football team right now.  There is nothing I can do outside of running for office up there myself to really facilitate a change so I am going to take things in a different direction. It’s time to start treating these people like what they. Irrelevant to the football scene in MS. I really feel for our players now though. They have been shortchanged on what they could have been 

 

I am going to start putting what pieces I have  and can gather from others  in here of a time that showed us what could actually be. It was a great time. I can say I was there.

Alright I have to address something here to the fellow Wayne County people that are reading.

No I’m not hurting anything by calling this Mickey Mouse non creative crap for what it is.

If I’m wrong I will eat crow. Notice I didn’t say gladly because I don’t like to be wrong. But I’m not and most of you guys know it A couple of wins against the skid row of 5A is what it takes to appease ? No . I didn’t come up as a dog that just takes whatever beatings that are dished out and comes back wagging my tail the first time my ears are scratched .

As some of you know I have been pretty banged up for almost a year now and had kind of lost my fire. I’m not banged up anymore and have my shoulder to wheel again. I’ve pissed off the right people so I know I’m over the target.

I know people get on here and talk crap but this team and this staff battled through this season and all the noise that the so called fans wanna talk about the team. You can go somewhere else. I missed most of the season due to work. I’m proud of the work and the progress this team made. The ground work is laid for the success that’s to come. Proud as always to be a Wayne County War Eagle.

Wayne played a hell of a game. Some will criticize them going for 2 on that last score but they were running it down the D's throat. Logically it made sense

The guy stuck together and didn’t listen to the outside noise. Tonight was probably the best game we’ve played in a loosing effort. These youngsters that he’s playing have the chance to be really good. I’m glad I didn’t have to make the call on the two point attempt. That’s one of you make it you are a great but either way you live with your decision.

The way our players executed and almost pulled it off just shows the Wayne County fighting spirit is still in there. They just need a better system to work in. Gautier is the same old Gautier no defense. They have one player. The slot receiver playing QB. Sad we didn't have anyone that could run him down.

 

I can't argue with going for two.  When WC scored first then made them punt he went vanilla on offense and had to give the ball back, He always takes his foot off when they get ahead. Ultimately that and running off the players to field a competent defense got them beat .

 

Now you. You don't  to have to say some. You could have quoted me. Ain't nobody been in here but me carrying the flame. Everything I said would come true has come to pass. From the first garbage bag I seen this lifetime loser  toting around until now. I'm not indebted to any of them and nothing I wrote  is  nothing I wouldn't say to Hathorne's face. He's not a good person. I see it . You don't . You should look closer.

How much dirt work has to be done for a foundation 4 YEARS  in the making ? He's Baughman 2.0.  You should really think about that.  Be honest the man has peaked and torn the whole program apart.  You've seen the best so I know you don't believe in what's going on. You know why ? You didn't chime in until AFTER the game so you had doubts too.

This crap about Wayne County don't have the kids to run spread is just more excuses. They are there . He's run off over half of them over test scores. Let's just put the cards on the table. They forced the kids out over making their own self look good. All the others they have left behind. Thrown to the streets.It may not change but I will never accept it. Being content with almost making it is laughable. Will they print shirts and put a trophy up celebrating this big participation ?

Hankins is probably a good man but football in this state is over his head . he should see tht and leave. He will never do any better and we need a coach not a team chaplain. 

I'm not going to think any different you . I think we want the same thing but differ on the path forward.
