Newton is terrible having given up 180 points so far and being 0-4. This is a good chance for Enterprise to pick up win #2 and head into district play. NHS has scored 44% of their opponents points facing comparatively better competition. While EHS has played down a classification every game and went so far 1-3, Newton has played higher classifications with the exception of Heidelberg, against which they scored 30 (in a close game) on a team that absolutely throttled Enterprise in spring. Enterprise's defense has been awesome in the first half only allowing 24 points in four games; if we can stop Newton and score points which should be easy since Newton is easily the worst team will play so far. Enterprise usually beats Clarkdale; last year Clarkdale had their best team in many years and it took a minor miracle for Clarkdale to win. Newton was poorly prepared, made no adjustments, out of shape, unmotivated, uncoached or failed to respond to coaching. Total disaster of a football team. Hope for Franklin or it's one and done. IF they are fortunate to get to round 2 it will be St Stanislaus/Tylertown winner vs probably Magee/Hazlehurst loser. Season over.
