Enterprise @ Newton

EHS has scored 30% of what their 2A scheduled opponents have scored. NHS has scored 44% of their opponents points facing comparatively better competition. While EHS has played down a classification every game and went so farĀ 1-3, Newton has played higher classifications with the exception of Heidelberg, against which they scored 30 (in a close game) onĀ a team that absolutely throttled Enterprise in spring. This might not be the game to go into with high expectations.Ā

Ā

Maybe save that for SEL or McLaurin.

Enterprise's defense has been awesome in the first half only allowing 24Ā points in four games; if we can stop Newton and score points which should be easy since Newton is easily the worst team will play so far. Newton is nowhere near as good as the teams we have played.

Enterprise will bounce back against winless Clarkdale in a rivalry game. Enterprise usually beats Clarkdale; last year Clarkdale had their best team in many years and it took a minor miracle for Clarkdale to win. Clarkdale's bad defense is just the remedy for Enterprise's struggling offense

I see 3A South as being between Enterprise and Noxubee Co. JDC St Stanislaus Hazlehurst Magee and Jefferson Co will also be in the mix. But IMO either Enterprise or Noxubee will win the south and we are in the same Region and we willĀ  play twice

Enterprise will probably be R5 #2 hosting R7 #3 either South Pike, Jefferson County, Wesson, or Franklin County. Hope for Franklin or it's one and done. IF they are fortunate to get to round 2 it will be St Stanislaus/Tylertown winner vs probably Magee/Hazlehurst loser. Season over.
