How many teams haven't won a game yet this season

if nobody doesn't know this Nettleton on a 19 game losing streak, don't know will they get a win somewhere before their season be over with

Crystal Springs 3A South last one and may not win a game. McNair had to kick some off the team last year then he resigned.  They hired the track coach not necessarily a football coach.

Mount Olive. I think their only shot to get a win is against west Lincoln in the season finale. And what’s said is even if they finish 0-10 they still will make the playoffs

I very agree on that and both Lee County teams, we know what Saltillo going through that rebuilding year with a new coach

The won't but they should win this week thanks to Pontotoc Shannon game.  Pontotoc QB going down was a major blow for them but who knows what else happens to them after the post game brawl. I would have put money on Pontotoc winning that game but not after that.

I feel like Cleveland Central is the only team in 5A north who might possibly play west point a good game and maybe defeat them.  That would most likely be in the 5A North final

Is West Point kind of like 2023 Laurel this year?  2023 Laurel went 1-5 before district play and ended up 8-7 after losing in the finals to West Point.  Laurel set a team record of points allowed that season.

Would that not be the most MHSAA thing if West Point and Laurel both finished the regular season with a losing record but still made the playoffs and made it to the title game?

I so hope they do. That would be a direct indictment of Mississippi having 7 classes in Sports.

If the shame and embarrassment of 2 losing record teams, playing for a State Championship doesn't

bother MHSSA enough to do something, nothing ever will.
